Since last Friday, I logged in 82 hours at work. We had something very important to finish before this weekend, hence the long hours. Anyways, every night, instead of my usual voodoo dance of death, I would wake up with the usual, but then fall right back to sleep with no problem. Wake up in the early morning with the same thing. It would start like normal, I might sit up in bed for a minute, then fall right back to sleep with no pain. Went all week at work with no headaches either. Worked from 6:00 A.M. to 11:30 P.M. one night, and never had a single tease let alone a headache. My sleeping pattern really didn't change, I was just exhausted when I hit the sack. May have worked my ass off, but at least I had 6 days with no headaches! That's only 3 days shy of my record! Maybe we all need to become work-a-holics.

Actually, this happens more often than you think. Apart from relaxation bringing on cluster attacks for many, hard work under lots of stress seems to keep the demon away. Not too tired, I'd say; too focussed on gaining your objective. Maybe that releases chemicals into our system that keep the hypothalamus from bothering us. Maybe it is the same how people can `keep away' death till the loved son comes in from abroad. Or the way my menopause started the month after a 5 year stressful project had been gloriously concluded.

It would have been real sweet if I was on vacation! Oh well. I had a BAD one last night. Still, can't take away last week! Isn't it rather pathetic that a group of people actually get excited over a few days of relief. Wish it didn't have to be this way people. I really do.
