Actually, I understand all you Yankee haters. I'm not a rabid fan. I grew up a Dodger freak.....Brooklyn Dodgers and nearly committed hari kari every October...except for 1955 Come to think of it, a Sox-Cubs WS would be nearly Biblical. Sigh.... Charlie

Let me tell you how much I hate the Yankees. I was playing golf down in the Low Country one day and this guy comes up to me a friend on the first tee. He was alone and wanted to join us. We said sure and it turned out he was here from Mass on a golf trip and his playing partner had gotten ill. After all the intros were made, he teed off. He pulled the SHIT out of his tee shot. He sighed and said "Well, that was a helluva a Thurmon Munson" "What's that?" we asked... "One dead Yank" Ah, we were brothers and friends then.... GO SOX!!!!

Funny. My mother had a thing for Munson......before the crash too...He was the only Yankee she could stand Braves-Yankees were great games too. 57 and 58. I know the Braves won one of them. In the fifties, we got tired of the Yankees too. Of course 1960 was the year I really defected Charlie
