I have surfaced once again. The beast, a ss kicker cycle, bad med experience, possible food poisioning, age, weight and bottomed out blood pressure tried to take me out, but I'm on the rebound.
Sorry to have worried anyone as to my where abouts. Now I'm back to work, swamped with emails, project from hell, staff issues, PC issues and you know what. I really don't give a shit!
My attitude now is "Fuck off or Fire me, I'll get to it when I can, and won't kill myself doing it!" Life is too short to let this place (corporate amercia) get the better of me.
Hope all is well with everyone. I'm trying to catch up. You all have been busy.

You've reached what I call the "fuck it" point. Good for you!
When I used to talk to people who were burning out, I used to try and help them reach the 'fuck it' point sooner, before they killed themselves with stress.
It's easier to hang on to that than all the 'what's the worst that can happen' stress management techniques which never work when you're stressed!
