ebay & paypal warning !!!

Hey guys....jus wanted to keep anyone that uses ebay or paypal updated so ya don't get ripped off....but if you get emails from ebay or paypal wanting account info DO NOT RESPOND.....even if it threatens to suspend you or limit your buying or sellin on ebay or both. Double check with any emails from them....use the live chat feature thru ebay for quick answers. This is a real serious deal.....I been gettin emails from em like crazy and they look very ligit....I just talked to ebay 'live chat'....they said it is spoof mail and to send it to .....spoof@ebay.com .......Do not reply to it, just foward it. My account was stolen not long ago and charges made to my account for big time sellers. The emails even want lisence plate numbers and date of issue and social security numbers.........yipes !!!! Some emails state there double checking for security reasons for your protection...don't respond !! Jus wanted ta warn ya's.....Safeharbor ebay ain't so safe anymore Pam.....heads up !!

yup - got two and reported them to PayPal who got back to me and said they were frauds - I mean really - who's going to provide PayPal with your ATM Pin #? ???
Also getting telephone scams - saying they needs more information about order # XXXXXXX or whatever an then get you to call back and ask for same info. There are a lot of not a very nice persons out there!

Think what a crook could do with all that info tho......SCAREY !!! The emails look so ligit and link on it takes ya rite to the ebay site. I just got a notice a minute ago from my online banking account and a link in case I was haveing trouble loggin on......huh......wonder if that one is ligit ? Be careful out there !! Paypal has been known to suck big time. I will say that since ebay bought the thing, I haven't heard a lot of really PITA stuff about it. So far, I've had little trouble with ebay itself.
Still, thanks for that warning. I can see it now, I'd be charged for that Kangaroo testitcles beer opener.
