Do you get "regular" headaches, too? The kind I assume other people get that you can take a couple Tylenol or Motrin and they go away? The kind that are annoying but otherwise don't effect you being able to go about your daily business? I do - and I think I get them more than average, probably twice a week. I had never had a "regular" headache during cycle before until this one though. Now, when I am PF from a cluster, I'm getting these freaking annoying, all over my head, headaches. Anybody else? I try not to pop a motrin for them because I'm afraid of the rebound effects and I don't want to trigger a CH but geez, don't you think I could have a few hours a day when my head doesn't hurt at all??

Thanks, Cbolony - I read that thread. Those sound more like low CH's though - I'm talking about regular, all over or forehead (not one sided) dull ache type pain. I get these types all the time. The feeling is completely different from a ch - that's why I call them "regular" headaches, like I assume most people get, not CH sufferers.

I can't remember what a regular headache feels like. To be frank, I can't even remember if I have ever had one. Glad I don't. C.H.'s are enough as it is.

Until this last cycle, I'd never had a 'regular' headache. NEVER. Since the last cycle, its 'a little sore' almost 50% of the time. I still haven't bothered with aspirin, etc... grant

Until I started with CH at age 26, I never once had a headache in my life. Now I do periodically but an advil takes care of that quickly. Too bad CH wasnt as easy to cure. suzy

Only other HA's I get are caffiene (lack of) and hangovers (once in a while). I don't drink during cycle, but I have had a caffiene HA or two durring this cycle. After a CH, it does not bother me though, and a cup of coffee, or some advil takes care of it. Darren

I get headaches but rarely. Oddly I have one as I type from being too lazy to defrost dinner and that I have some kind of virus that is in a messy battle with my immune system. I'm serious about the headache but it's nothing much so far. Take aspirin, etc, when necessary. I get a few minor ones every year but I've never had a migraine. Charlie

Kasey4 I got a headache right now. It's definitely not a CH. Last night i was woken by a CH and had to give myself a injection. Went back to sleep but woke up with another headache. It sucks but not the CH type. Maybe it's one of the rebound ones I hear everybody says you can get after an Imitrex injection. I have taken 3 prescrip Naproxen and it seems to be subsiding some. This morning I had some feelings of little pins in stabbing my left eardrum too. Maybe New York is getting to be a little much for me.

I get regular headaches all the time. And I mean ALLLLLL the time. It sucks. I throw my hat on the ground...Headache. I watch a movie. Headache. blah blah blah. Mind you, these are most likely tension headaches due to the nature of my job and my merciless pursuit of the dollar and sweet Machiavellian goodness, but they are still here.... And when the CHs come, O boy...I know the difference then. Advil and the like usually do the trick. But I have to take enough of it so my liver is waving the white flag by day's end...

Hello Kasey... I don’t remember what it means living without headaches. When I’m not in cluster I suffer of allergies which make me headaches... When I don’ have allergies I have “sinusitis”... You are not alone... Good luck, Zaira

I have always suffered from lots of "regular" headaches. I did a one month detox diet last May and it got rid of or broke my CH cycle. I also did not have a single "regular" headache for almost a year , but they then they started creeping up on me a few months ago. The ones where you can take an aspirin and they are gone. I did another one month detox diet recently and have not had a single headache since about day 5 of the diet. Back to normal eating again now and I feel great again. As Don says "poor eating habits and stress". I always feel less stressed after a detox! John
