Help! God@ I'm at work and it's starting. Its about a 6 and getting worse. It's also my birthday and I guess I hoped it wouldn't happen today. Not at work anyway.
What do I do???!!!!
I don't have no O2.
Help!!
I think I'll go into the bathroom and beat my head against the sink now

Hang in. Hide in the bathroom if it helps. When I get hit at work, I always just go in a dark room and rock back and forth and try not bang anything so that my coworkers don't come running. Last thing you need is people asking you questions.

Happy Birthday. Hope the rest of your birthday is pain-free.
When I get hit at work, I immediately excuse myself, go outside, and jog/run until it goes away. This usually takes about 5-30 minutes.

So sorry to hear your getting hit today of all days. I don't think the beast knows what birthdays are. The least he could do is give everyone that one day off.
Its been a while since I've been hit at work, but I can remember what its like. Fortunately, I was self-employed and able to let my "boss/client" know that I was going for a LONG lunch and take a couple hours to get as far away from the office as possible. A short time later, a co-worker found me sitting in my car in the underground parking, slamming my head against the steering wheel. Apparently she was very concerned about what she saw and approached me later. After doing my best to explain, she became one of the best friends I have. Its funny how good friends can be found in the most unexpected of circumstances.
I don't know what else to say other than I really hope the rest of your day just keeps getting better and better.
So sorry you had this happen on your birthday,

If all else fails, *take a Midol & slam a Mountain Dew
(Midol has more pain reliever than most OTC meds.).
*Yes, I know this probably won't work, but it is better than nothing.

I went into the Bathroom and jumped around and hit myself in the head repeately for a while.
While I was muttering and crying. I tried to be as quiet as I could. I turned on the water as hot as I could and let the steam fill up the room as I tried to clear the snot from my nose. Kind of worked. Although I wish I had an ice machine I could have stuck my head in.
I guess I was in there a good 40 minutes or so. Looked like crap when I came out. Oh well, It could have been worse. I could have been in the car driving.

I wish I could have I can't take it.
Well anyway afterwards I had a seizure. Go figure. ;D
I don't understand sometimes why I get hit so hard still with all of the meds I am on.
Indocin 50mg 3x a day
Topomax 200mg
Verapamil 320mg
I don't get it.
I go back to the HA center next week. I'm hoping that they will be able to do more for me then.
By the way THANKS for the HAPPY's

Oh, I'm so sorry you're getting hit on your birthday. (I just posted to that thread) Like Grant I'm basically my own boss, but still have partners that I work with. When I get hit at work I usually end up going outside (especially if it's winter) and trying to suck in as much cold air as possible. Otherwise, I have several quiet places I can hideout in the building where I can rock & bang my head in peace.
Again, I'm sorry the beast wouldn't leave you alone on your birthday. Hang in there!

If you have O2 at home and have more than one E-tank (Apria Healthcare always delivers mine 6 or 8 at a time)... take one to work. You can get a second O2 regulator at Ebay for $40-50.
And............... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
