My email address is hidden on this board and on every other board that I visit for a reason... messageboards, guestbooks, and personal webpages are a major source of email addresses for Spammers. I average less than two Spam emails per month and I'd like to keep it that way.

Oops!! I haven't gotten around to doing that yet. I will I promise!!
Till then - I am from SE Michigan; 38 years old (will be 39 next month). I am happily married and have 4 beautiful children 2 boys and 2 girls, ages 10, 8, 6 and 5 months. I have had CH for 25 years and I am only grateful that I started cycling 2 months ago rather than when I was still pregnant because that would have sucked with a capital S (I know because I cycled part of my first pregnancy. They said I could only take regular tylenol  Thanks for nothing!!)
There - I think that's more than you'd find out in my profile and more than I know about the rest of you

I would suspect that some people tentatively post here at first, then get more comfortable exposing themselves over time (just look at Jonny )
If they are looking for help - I'm going to offer it if I can. Most of my conversations with Clusterheads occurs via email and phone. Every email I send has my home, work, and cell phone number on it.
IF someone chooses to remain totally “invisible” in emails to me - THEN I politely back off.

I will politely say it again. This board has become more of a "club" complete with high school peer group antics.
Really now, if someone needs help and wants to remain anon, what is the big deal? How does this affect you?
Granted it is your choice but geez. Last social gathering I attended there were no name tags, nobody had personal info silk screened on their shirts and I actually me some very good people.
Can't we just all get along or do I need to be pledged into the sorority first? 
To each his own I guess, and no offence indtended but perhaps the "exclusive" group should break off into their own little world and open a members only golf course.

That was from last Jan., when a similiar vein was followed. Seems to me, the whole idea of this place is to make it EASIER to get ahold of one another, not harder. It's kind of nice to know whether you're replying to a man, woman or barnyard fowl, as well if that said entity is within my _decade_ age bracket, and whether they live around the corner, or on another continent. Just my druthers....not that it matters.
(By the bye.......ALL member names/emails are listed and harvestable from the Where We Live pages. Big deal. So what. Who cares.......)

There are person who could fear the prejudices of “silly” people; an example: in my profile there is written that I’m Italian, but a person here can’t bear for this reason (and others reasons)!!
It could be very sad for someone to receive such messages! 
Maybe this is one of the reasons of anonymity!
