does imitrex prolong the cycle

???. I have found a good way to spread my imitrex out. I can get about 10 shots from the stradadose system. Takes a bit longer to get it to act, but does a good job. It seems though that this cycle seems to be lasting a bit longer. I know that Imitrex can cause rebounds, but I wasn't sure if it would prolong say a two month cycle. Can anyone help??!!?? Thanks Scot

Yes the last neuro i seen told me that imitrex prolong CH cycles, two years ago my cycle lasted 3 months when they used last only 1 to 1 1/2 months. I have used the imitrex during this cycle and it was only a month long (knock on wood) Good luck Scot!!!!

I think this has been discussed in the past. Not sure if its relevant, but since I've been med-free (about 5 yrs) my cycles have gradually got shorter and shorter. They've gone from 6-8 weeks down to under 3 weeks for the last cycle. If my cycles were longer, I probably never would have tried med-free. The med-free route is DEFINITELY not for everybody. PFDAN, grant
