CH music CD for convention......give us an answer!

Cat and I talked about putting together a CD of everyone's favorite ch music for the convention....we'll use it as a door prize. ( And, whoever wins it will have to burn copies for everyone....LOL. ) Tell us what song you listen to, or what song makes you think of ch's. And also tell us what you listen to afterwards. Please...... (sheeeesh.....going back to begging like I did with the cookbook...... )

jonny......from my past experience with my msn , they don't like large files, but you can give it a shot. Or just let me know the name, and I can download it. Try the email first.....I'd like to see if it comes through. Tracey

I forgot to answer my own question. Live4Fun....I do like 'One Step Closer'. But mine would have to be 'Crawlin'. These are the lyrics: Crawling in my skin, these wounds they will not heal Fear is how I fall, confusing what is real There's something inside me That pulls beneath the surface Consuming, confusing This lack of self control I fear is never ending Controlling, I can't seem To find myself again, my walls are closing in (Without a sense of confidence I'm convinced that there's just too much pressure to take) I've felt this way before, so insecure Discomfort endlessly has pulled itself upon me Distracting, reacting Against my will I stand beside my own reflection It's haunting how I can't seem To find myself again, my walls are closing in (Without a sense of confidence I'm convinced that there's just too much pressure to take) I've felt this way before, so insecure Crawling in my skin, these wounds they will not heal Fear is how I fall, confusing what is real (There's something inside me That pulls beneath the surface, consuming) Confusing what is real (This lack of self control I fear is never ending Controlling) After the ch's is gone, it's Chopin's Prelude in C minor.

Jonny, That's why I like that one too!!! And, "I'm one step closer to the edge, and I'm about to break." But screaming it helps me realize I am not going to break. Roxy, yep Crawlin is awesome too! We should write Linkin Park, they seem to know our pain a little to well. Perhaps one of the is a CHer?? (Wait Crawlin is Linkin Park, right?) Bryan

Rox, you sure you wanna torture these people with this stuff? ??? I don't listen to stuff during CH, but some of these remind me a little of the beast: A Gruesome Time - Mercyful Fate Here Comes The Pain - Slayer Closer To The Pain - Cemetary Nightcrawler - Judas Priest And a real shitkicker: Eve White/Eve Black - Siouxsie and the Banshees And for those victorious moments: Painkiller - Judas Priest Kill With Power - Manowar Ride With Vengeance - Amon Amarth And for those special alternative treatments: Whatever That Hurts - Tiamat Uncle Anesthesia - Screaming Trees Good luck --- Steve, one of many...

Anyone ever listen to 3 Doors Down.....they are awesome.........this song is from there first album....lotta there songs seem to be PAIN related I noticed and here's the lyrics to my favorite: Life of my Own Living risky, never scared, wander Closer to the edge Nothing valued think no fear, always Wondering why you’re here All your purposes are gone, nothing’s Right and nothing’s wrong Nothing ventured, nothing gained Feel no sorrow, feel no pain Kiss me while I’m still alive Kill me while I kiss the sky Let me die on my own terms, let me Live and let me learn Now I’ll follow my own way, and I’ll Live on to another damn day Freedom carries sacrifice, remember When this was my life Looking forward, not behind Everybody’s got to cross that line Free me now to give me a place, Keep me caged and free the beast Falling faster, time goes by, fear is Not seen through these eyes What there was will never be, now I’m blind and cannot see Kiss me while I’m still alive Kill me while I kiss the sky Let me die on my own terms, let Me live and let me learn Now I’ll follow my own way, and I’ll Live on to another damn day Freedom carries sacrifice, remember When this was my life Kiss me while I’m still alive Kill me while I kiss the sky Let me die on my own terms, let Me live and let me learn Now I’ll follow my own way, and I'll live on to another damn day Freedom carries sacrifice, Remember when this was my life Thanx, Da-coot

Besides reggae & some blues, I vote these two: #1 Bill Withers The Best Of Bill Withers Lean On Me Sometimes in our lives we all have pain We all have sorrow But if we are wise We know that there's always tomorrow Lean on me, when you're not strong And I'll be your friend I'll help you carry on For it won't be long 'Til I'm gonna need Somebody to lean on Please swallow your pride If I have things you need to borrow For no one can fill those of your needs That you don't let show Lean on me, when you're not strong And I'll be your friend I'll help you carry on For it won't be long 'Til I'm gonna need Somebody to lean on If there is a load you have to bear That you can't carry I'm right up the road I'll share your load If you just call me So just call on me brother, when you need a hand We all need somebody to lean on I just might have a problem that you'd understand We all need somebody to lean on Lean on me when you're not strong And I'll be your friend I'll help you carry on For it won't be long Till I'm gonna need Somebody to lean on Lean on me… #2 Paul McCartney Flowers In The Dirt Put It There Give Me Your Hand I'd Like To Shake It I Want To Show You I'm Your Friend. You'll Understand If I Can Make It Clear It's All That Matters In The End. Put It There If It Weighs A Ton, That's What The Father Said To His Younger Son. I Don't Care If It Weighs A Ton, As Long As You And I Are Here, Put It There. Long As You And I Are Here, Put It There. If There's A Fight I'd Like To Fix It, I Hate To See Things Go So Wrong. The Darkest Night And All It's Mixed Emotions, Is Getting Lighter Sing A Song. Put It Ther, ... *My idea, to change the line "That's What The Father Said To His Younger Son." to "That's What One CH'er Said To The Other One." I really believe Lean On Me should be the official CH song. KingOfPain
