Convention attendees! Need help...

I am planning on putting out the OUCH newsletter around the first part of August and would like to have a couple of feature articles about the Convention.
So, I am looking for volunteer writers.
I would like an overall article, accompanied by photos giving non-attendees and other interested parties a look at the fun and camaraderie. The person who wants to take on this assignment can take the photos him or herself, or I will need someone else to volunteer to take pictures.
I know lot's of you will be taking pics, but I would like these to be "exclusive". In other words, can't post 'em on the board! LOL
I also would like an article summarizing one of the guest speakers' presentations.
If anyone would be interested in taking on any of these assignments, or if you have any questions, please let me know. You can IM me or email me at dragland@citlink.net
Keep in mind, that since the Convention is July 18 - 20 and I am hoping to have the NL out as close to the beginning of August as possible, there will be a fairly stiff deadline for turning in your articles and photos! Probably one week MAX. So if you know you have other commitments immediately following the Convention, you might not want to volunteer.

I was all over it to volunteer til I read your last line Sherry LOL. I am moving 2 weeks after the convention LOL. I will still do up a full article on the speakers though. I am going to video tape the speakers and/or tape them so I will have a transcript of the speaking engagements. If nothing else, I will have the info for someone else to help me transcribe.
I will take pics for you as well, and I will get the details of the convention off to you ASAP so that you have a basic outline of the events

Sherry, I'll be glad to volunteer for whatever job you need. I'm taking the good ol' digital camera, so you can have any photos you want from me.....I won't post them.
Whether you want my 'writing' or not....LOL.....that's up to you. I have another big charity commitment, but it's not till around the 10th of August.
Just let me know.....

Wow Cat! Are you perchance a type A personality? LOL Just kidding! However, if you would like to either do the speaker article or stand by and coordinate to supply transcripts that would be GREAT.

Tracey, pics sounds great! It was suggested that it might be good to have a few photographers! That way will get a broader spectrum. So I got you on my list.

I have a digital camera but it doesn't take the best pics.....batteries go dead FAST.....I'll problly get some good 'after hours pics' tho.....ha-ha-ha-ha ! Far as writein is concern'd I hear I am a bad speller.....dam dislexia !!! Vocabularily incorrect Pam
