I just checked my profile and found that as a new board veteran this is my 170th post. Some of those have been in support of others. Some have been asking questions. (repeats of others who asked the same things before) Some in response to humor, etc that struck a chord in me. I lurked here for quite a while before joining, then lost my internet connection for a while and forgot my online name and password. DJ was kind enough to try to help me retrieve it, but I finally just started over. Now I normally log on when I'm online, but at least check in to see what is being discussed whether or not I post anything. I understand some of the frustrations brought up, and Don, your satire of the freeloader was brilliant. Jonny, you have been a tremendous help to me on more than one occasion and I am profoundly grateful for it. A number of others have answered questions for me and been a help and an encouragement that I really appreciate.
However, I for one have difficulty in expressing myself, and often don't respond publicly when I don't feel I can add anything to what has already been said. Does that mean I am just along for the ride? I think not. There is not a post expressing need that I don't pray over, whether or not I respond here. Much of the time I don't respond because although I have suffered with these things for twenty-five years I have known ziltch about them until I found this site about two years ago. I'M STILL TRYING TO LEARN not show my ignorance.
May I bring up another reason some leave? I am not offended, but my wife is offended by some of the language used, along with some of the vulgarity and the sexual innuendo. She will not read the postings here as a result. She is a great supporter, but unfortuately without a lot of knowlege because she doesn't want to come on here. I ask your consideration.
I apologize for being so verbose and for rambling.
Thanks for all that each of you has given to me. I am indeed richer for having found this site, and you cannot make me leave. This site has literally been a life saver for me and I want to see it continue to help others.

Calico, I am a woman myself (a senior citizen already!) but I don't feel offended at the language some people use. If they mean well...
I DO get offended, however, at some of the sentiments that are sometimes expressed here, that I will grant you.
You could ask your wife to visit the medication message board and especially the supporters' board, where she will find many ladies in the same position she is in.
We can't guarantee there'll never be an "off" word, but for info and support - for she certainly needs that too - there is no better place.
Show your wife my message and get her into contact with people who speak her language. It just takes a little looking. Good luck (and congrats at having a real life supporter that sticks up for you. some on this board are not so lucky).

Please do tell your wife about the Supporters' boards (thanks for the plug, Ave  ). I help DJ moderate those boards and I'm MUCH less patient than he is about those kinds of posts.
Please tell your wife she is more than welcome there and I promise the content is pretty static and sometimes even sane! 
If she is in need of talking to a fellow supporter off the board, we do have a mailbox set up at clusterbuds@hotmail.com for that very purpose. Or, I don't mind if she mails me directly at moxie_miss@hotmail.com.
