Medical Term?

Most every other ailment I know has a "medical term" for it's official name, something latin usually. So far I have only seen the term "clusterheadaches" to define our ailment. (Except here ) Question, is there an "official" name for CH? Hmmmmmmmmm. TIA, Mark

In my house it's like this when I wake in the middle of the night........ Wife "What's wrong?" Me "I got a headache." Wife "One of those?" Me "Yep" Now aren't you glad you asked?

When I had to switch docs, I asked the potential new doc if he was familiar with cluster headaches..his response.."ah yes..those nasty lil f*ckers" I guess that was his professional name for em!! But with that answer, I knew he was the doc for me! Huggz Shari

According to the IHS... The category of headaches that clusters belong to is Trigeminal-Autonomic Cephalgias, but they use Cluster Headaches as the "official" name of our sub-category. Most all other names for this affliction are previously used, outdated terms. PFDAN............................... Drk^Angel
