Ch has completely stopped in some of the "a little bit older" people around here. Is this to be expected in every one?
What is the oldest age sufferer you have ever heard of?

This is a good question Donna. I'd like to know myself. I will be 48 soon and sure as hell hoping the beast thinks I'm too old to bother with.
But seriously, if it does leave older people, I'm curious to know why that is.
I think the oldest age sufferer would be Jonny, he is 96.

Funny, you should post on this, sis..i was thinking about this the other day..talked to my daugher in law about it in fact...she was wondering if it had something to do with hormones....i pray it ends soon...i am getting hit again and on two kinds of antiseizures plus verapamil and the patch just to exist...but the beast will not kick my butt...even though i am getting older.LOL. smiles,nancyc

Hey Donna, I have had this right eye imploding, exploding, right nasal congestion thingies, right upper jaw pain, right ear pain, wake me up in the middle of the god damn night every two hours, during the day time afraid to eat anything, should it trigger an attack, typically lose 10-15 lbs per cycle, people who don't know me well will ask,"you look really good, have you been on a diet?' No, I politely will add, thinking to myself, it is just these "stupid headaches" as I refer to them. Mine started at 16 years of age, every year episodic, once a year for 22 years. Only one cycle in the the last 8 years, so there is hope, for all of you out there that this horror will one day go away. Maria

Donna......Im 60.....cycles are still 6 weeks in duration...BUT...less 10's ( only during the 2nd and 3rd week) and more shadows in their place....god bless...Tony 18/6

yes, Charlie is the oldest one on record to not have CH for over eleven yrs. now... But then again Jonny is 39 and 540 days old, so who knows.

Good news tho- I think this cycle has been better in all ways!
Shorter individual attacks
(from 45 min to 1 1/2 hr to 15 min to 1/2 hr)
Less severe! down an avg of 3/4 kip pts
I'm hoping a shorter cycle
Hope these will be both of our final cycles!!

I was 23 when they hit and about 45 they took powder. I wish I could come up with something definitive but nope.
There is some iffy evidence that age can have an effect. We can't say much for sure. There's always a chance.
