i almost dont want to post this message because its like finally admitting im back in a full blown cycle. I've been pain free for 3 years. I thought wow,all i needed to do was have a baby!!. but atlast the beast has returned and with a vegence. Luckily im having some sucess with fioricet (take 2 with 2 excedrin) and that seems to work within 25min. Never worked in the past but hey who cares. the problem is im going over the recommened acetaminephen daily dose (4000mg) a day because the attacks are coming 3-4 times a day. Anyways, justed wanted to say hi and let you know i appreciate all the wisdom on the site shared. I'm 32 and have been diagnosed with ch for 16 years. It amazes me how much more informed you guys are than the doctors ive seen( 6 different neurologist in 12 years!). im using my pcp this time so i dont have to go through another MRI, and other junk they all feel is necessary. Ok HA is gone and ill stop rambling. i may not post much but you can bet ill be here everyday till this cycle ends!!!!!!!!! thanks. krista

Hi klp.....sorry yer bein hit again....but does acetaminephen work for you......I'm a supporter but get....um......mi....um....um....miiii.....mmiaa....."migraines"........ ahhh there I said it (cardinal sin) .....SORRY.....but that don't do them squat.....glad it works for you tho.....yer a lucky one. Me I jus go crazy all to myself......stick around and de-lurk and post away what is helping you. Alot of new people here that may need your help too..........good luck to you ! hi thanks for the welcome. nope definately not migrains, or tension HA's. like i said never worked in past but for some reason is working this cycle. sansert has always helped in the past but you know how that goes. i didnt add im also drinking a ton (250oz) h2o a day so that might be helping.

Hi,
Its a good idea to get a MRI every few years anyway klp. Just to rule out any thing else going on. Remember we still don't know what causes these damn things. Don't take MRI likely.

Hi Krista, sorry you're back in cycle. Please be careful with your liver. Overdosing acetominophen can be damaging to the liver. In the early days I tried fighting CH (unsuccessfully) with exedrin until a blood test came back showing slightly altered liver functioning.
I hope you get better fast.

Welcome krista, but I hate hearing you're back in cycle. Three years is a long time to go PF, I'm glad you are that lucky. Hopefully your cycle won't last too long....this is the best place to be, hurting or not hurting.
Please watch yourself with the acetaminephen doses......have you tried the fioricet w/out the excedrin? You might give it a shot, and let your liver take a little break.
