Isolated episodes?

I know by definition you can't have a "cluster of one" but, big but, has anyone else experienced isolated episodes during the off season?

I just got over an extremely stressful month, with more things going wrong in my life that I could keep track of.

If my theory holds true a month from now I will be in full blown cycle again for the second time this year. (BTW my theory, in my case it seems after a long stressful period, the hypothalamus goes out of whack, overcompensates, whatever and then the cycle begins, which would explain long remission periods of up to 3 years).

Anyhow will keep hoping and praying that I'm not starting a second cycle and that I had only those two incidents.

PFDAN to all.

I have had at least one, maybe 2 out of cycle single ch's. But, they were on the other side of my head.  Very strange.  Took me a while to figure out what it was cuz it was so strange to feel it on the opposite side.

I've never had a single out of cycle ch on my normal ch side.

Ozzman,
Interesting theory.  I'm trying to remember back almost three years to my last cycle and it does seem like I've had  some sort of stress constantly.  I had tons of stress in my job and I took care of that last summer but at the same time I had a break up with my family and was very depressed during the fall and winter.  This spring I decided I was not going to let them destroy my life and I dug myself out of the hole I was in.  I was really starting to be a happy person again and then WHAM! the beast is back.
I'm going to do some research on the Hypothalmus,  since I really don't even know what it does.

I've had episodes that lasted 2-3 days with 1-2 CH's per day.  They did not lead up to a cycle lasting weeks like I've been experiencing.

I really hope you are not about to start a new cycle.

Sending thoughts & vibes to you,
Kate

Yes.

Several times, often when away from town, I would have only a few isolated attacks. They would usually last a day or two and then disappear. I think it happened mostly in the summer. Pretty odd and they would still make their usual appearance in the fall and spring.
