Pattern Change?

Since last week my headache pattern has been really screwed up.  My elder daughter was married on Sat. and the stress and rush of all that went on was probably the culprit, but I'd like your opinions.

Normally I get hit at 11am, and 5, 9, and 11pm, with an occasional one at 1am just for fun.  On Thurs of last week everything went screwy.  I got hit every two hours from the time I got upwith one at 10am until midnite.  We had the rehearsal and dinner on Thurs evening and I got hit twice during them.  Normally if I have something that keeps me really occupied I can work through them, but I got hit with and 8 and a 10.
On Friday it was the same pattern as Thurs, but on Sat my regular 11am was the only one I really had.  I had some shadowing at the regular times, but during the wedding I was fine.  Sunday I made it through the morning church service, and then was basically back on the regular schedule, but I took oxygen to church with me and made it to the evening service for a change.  Monday was basically the regular schedule with the 1am included.  However, today has been unreal!  I didn't get hit until noon, and then I have been hit with 7 to 9s every hour for about twenty minutes with shadows of a strong 3 to 4 for the rest of the time.

Do you think this is due to the release of stress, etc of the wedding coupled with the holiday yesterday?  I tried to go to work, but got hit right in the middle of the building supply and then had to stop the car on the way coming home.  Oxygen has done NOTHING for any of them today.  Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks,
jc

BTW, the wedding was beautiful.  I'd tried to sell her for years, and finally cut my losses and gave her away. ;D ;D ;D

Hi Jc,

I have always found that the release of stress has made my headaches much worse.  Both the frequency and intensity of the CH increase trememdously for me at that time.

Hope you find some pain free time soon.......

Hi jc,

Congratulations on the wedding. And sorry to hear about your beast.

Over the past 25 years my cycles are fairly constant when they happen, but a couple of them shifted to the left side for a change of pace. A couple of other time they shifted from night time to day. Like Cathy said, they just seem to have a mind of their own.

It sounds like you are not on any meds - I have never taken any either. Tryptophan has helped me in the past and seems to be doing so again. I'm on my way to the health food store to get some 5htp (5-hydroxy-tryptophan) and you may want to give it a try, too. After all the price of a bottle of nutritional supplements is a small price to pay for another try at relief.

Good luck and wishing you PFDAN,
Dell
