OUCH Newsletter

For the past little while I've wanted to pass the reins over to someone to run/edit the OUCH newsletter (I was going to say I was resigning to spend more time with my family, but it seems the vast number of people in this administration jumping the Bush ship have all used that one already  . As a matter of fact, the reason there are so few of them is because of how long that "little while" was for. But, I also wanted to make sure the person who'd take over was intelligent, eager, dedicated to the cause and someone I believe would be willing to take the time to put out a quality publication and not just slap something together without any real thought. Something which not only that person would be proud of but that I'd be proud of if I put it out. Luckily, I had the good fortune to work with the perfect candidate on the last newsletter. Sherry (Oringkid) is the new Editor-in-Chief. I have complete confidence in her abilities and can relax in the thought that the NL is in very good hands. And she knows if she has any questions she can come to me and ask them. One thing I ask of you all is to give her a hand. It's a lot of work and the more of you who pitch in the easier this humongous task she's taken on will be for her.

Ted, hope the family you are going to spend more time on includes us... You did a great job! I was unpaid EIC of a magazine for 19 years. I know the hassle and the sheer hard work. Proficiat! Am still entertaining the hope of meeting you at the convention.

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the past newletters, and I'm so glad that they are going to continue. Thanks for the past issues Ted.....you did a great job. I hope you know how much all the work you did is appreciated. Sherry, anything I can do to help, I will be glad to. Just tell me what you need, and I'll be happy to do it. I've done a newletter before, so I know how much hard work it is.....I'd love to help you. Just let me know, Tracey

Ted, Thank you so much for the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears you have put into the previous Newsletters. They were a wonderful professional piece of work! Sherry, Congrats on the new job! If you need anything email me and I'll see what I can do. I'm sure I can spin off an article regarding the convention for the next newsletter Cat

First I'd like to thank you Ted, for giving me a chance and great advice and guidance on the last newsletter. I enjoyed it so much, I wanted to do another one right away! LOL (in fact, even started one!) I am pleased and excited about taking over this newsletter. I know with Ted's guidance and advice, and help from all of you good people, we will have one hell of a newsletter!! I want to thank all of you for volunteering your help, and I will definitely be enlisting it! (I've got some ideas and people I want to approach already in mind! Look out! LOL) Again, Ted, thank you for your confidence in me and I will do my damnedest to make you and OUCH proud! Sherry
