I HATE the beast.......and a few other things

Well here we go again!!  Dave got hit yesturday evening and this time it was on BOTH sides! He was on his way home from parts delivery and WHAM! He said it started off with a migraine then to CH. He stopped on his way home and bought a 7 lb. bag of ice to put his head in for hells sake!! Right after he got home I "popped" him and he dropped. Thank god for trex and ice packs! He's taking his Verap 2x a day like he's supposed to as the same time every day. This cycle has been so weird to say the least. No hits for 2 weeks then outta the damn blue here he comes! The hits have been so darn random it's not even funny anymore! I wish the beast would pick a day and time so Dave and I could be ready for the battle!! I know thats wishful thinking on my part but at this point wishful thinking is all I have left!!! The to add the icing on the blasted cake, I find out that a couple of "friends" (not on the board) have cut my throat and put a knife in my back and smiled while they did it! I'm so tired of people my so called friends putting knives in my back and getting off on it!!! I try my best to do what is right and help folks no matter who it is, and I ALWAYS end up with my throat cut!! WTF is going on with people these days ??? Or is it me and I have "sucker" tattooed on my forehead in a flashing neon sign? 99.9% of people in this world SUCK!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Dave is trying to keep his head up when dealing with the CH, but it takes it toll on him I know. He's so darn tired of dealing with the beast, I hate seeing him suffer! And all I can do is get the ice, the trex, and hold him while he rocks and bangs his head! I guess from now on I'll have to be a pure bitch and keep folks arms length away in order to keep from having my throat cut! My father always said "keep your friends close and your enemies closer" well guess what folks he was RIGHT!

Geeze Leesa, you sure have your hands full....but you've always done a good job and you do have all of us behind you to hold you up.
Poor Dave.......this freekin beast just loves to torture us and keep us guessing.
Sorry you guys are having such a rough time and can't wait to hear some good news...that the beast got tired and went home for the duration.

Oh, Leesa, I'm soooo sorry to hear all this. The helpless feeling SUCKS I'll tell you one thing for sure....you can't take Dave's pain away but it sure is comforting to have you by his side...not nearly so frightening for him.
As to the friends.....tell them to "eat shit and die"... ;D (to steal a line from one of my favorite movies)
Hang in there and remember we're just a keystroke away.
Give Dave and the baby a hug for us...

I'm so sorry to hear about your "friends" but hon...that just gives you al the more time to concentrate on Dave and your family now.

Leesa - It upsets me so when someone has reached their stress limit. I'm sorry that you are having a rough time of it. And I'm sorry that Dave is being hit again.
I don't know you other than to respond to some posts, but you two are strong and will make it through this as well.
Just remember that those "friends" that are doing the backstabbing are really not TRUE friends. Do you really need that added stress in your life?
TRUE friends are those here - that stand beside you no matter how silly, how hurt, how stressed you can be.

Sorry Leesa for all yer troubles...sorry ya got back stabbin freinds too....that hurts.....glad it's no one on here too....sumtimes freinds are like a pack of wild animals...they follow what ever leader is in fronta em at the time and tromple yer ass when yer not lookin. I keep my distance of people like that anymore......that hurts em the most actually. Hang in there........Pam that has had a flakey freind or two

Well, is it who I think it is? I'd call ya but I bet you're still at graduation. Dang things last forever, huh? Will try to stop by soon. Went on an ambulance run (transfer) to Nashville Sunday to St Thomas-you would have enjoyed the 95 mph. I was thinking "Leesa would LOVE this s*h*i*t." Couldn't tell who puked more, me or the patient--it's hell being pregnant at times. LMAO ;D

Dang! Hit post before I meant to. Tell Dave I'll be waiting on ya'll if we need to meet at the ER. I've been afraid he would start up again. Seems like it was this time last year-actually a little earlier-when it was at it's worst. Or am I wrong? ???

Hey Karen.......... 95 ??? Thats IT?? LMAO the faster the better like a 10 min. trip in 3 min. last summer! Now that was FAST!! And now that you said that your right it is about the same time as last year when Dave started getting hit again! And yes graduation was LONG too damn long for any one to be in a "monkey suite" and 4 1/2 inch heels.  Now I know why in the hell I don't wear heels that often any more. I'm too damn old for that s*hit! LMAO I'll grow old but I refuse to grow up damnit!! ;D LOL The things we do for our kids! Geessshhhhh Walking on the balls of my feet aint no joy ride! LMAO But trust me if we need the ER youll be the first one I look for!! Your my saving grace at the ER with this crap lurking around!! I'll keep a bucket ready for ya!! *snicker* Hope you wont need too much longer! Here's hopein!! Thanks for all support yall!!

I made my 1st post here yesterday as soon as I discovered the boards...what an awesome outlet! I'm SO glad I found you all!
Leesa, my Michael is currently in a cycle, the 3rd 1 in 6 years and every single one started the week before Memorial Day. Really makes me wonder if there's something seasonal that might act as a trigger. He, too, likes me to be right there with him and hold him when he rocks and remind him to take deep breathes. We had a particularly rough night and morning and it was good to jump on here when I finally got into work and know I was amongst friends who understand.
We'll be hoping the beast disappears for Dave as quickly as it came.

Deb, I have to wonder too if some of this isnt seasonal myself. ??? Last summer this time was ROUGH to say the least. Glad you found us and I hope you and Michael find some PF time very soon (like now would be good) Deb, you will not find a better "family" then here that I promise you. Here we have to take care of each other and we do it very well I might add. I hate that you and Michael are dealing with the beast but at least now you know neither of you are alone in the fight. No matter what is going on we are always here to help each other. I say this all the time, "this is the BEST care anywhere" and welcome to the family. Thanks for the well wishes and right back at you and Michael too.
