This is a handicap ramp I out fitted with satin finish aluminum rails, it may look over done with rails but it is ADA code (Hey Don, its in Taunton)
This is a senior housing place, between the old peeps and the peeps in wheel chairs all this pipe comes in handy to them for getting up the ramp.
In the two days I was there installing the rails more than a few of the older folks came out with drinks for me and my crew, I love it when a plan comes together all around.

Very, Very Cool Jonny! My wife is in a wheelchair  and appreciates a good ramp.... I'll have to bring her there & make sure it works.....

This reminds me of my Mom and Dad. My mom has had both knees replaced and my Dad has Polymyositus, which is an autoimmune disease where your body attacks it's own muscle tissue. He's in a wheelchair now but they still manage to get around OK.
Anyway, a few years ago when he was still able to walk with a walker or canes, my Mom was complaining about ramps. For some reason she prefers stairs, ramps and shiny floors make her very insecure. My Dad is a man of few words, so she's going on about ramps and he just says, "I like a good ramp."
Maybe you had to be there. els
