hello new friends....Beast let me get some much needed sleep on Sunday and Sunday night!!!!.....so my golf buddies call and want me  to play.....get up Monday morning feeling good......I go....I make a bird on the first hole and start to play like the priest in Caddyshack.....finish the front nine in 38!!!!.....my quest to break 80 is on!!!!!.......get to the 15th hole and BAM!!!....a kip 8 within 2 minutes.....a kip 10 within 6 minutes....I pop an imitrex pill but I know it wont do me any good for 30 minutes or so.....you know the rest.....my magic swing disolves as the Beast splits my scull in two, and my scores on the last 3 holes are horrible!!!...gives me 43 on the back......for an 81!!!!!!.....oh well.....Tony 18/6 Cry

Sorry the beast spoiled your game. Damn, he is so spiteful at times.  Angry  Too bad they couldnt have stopped the game till the imitrex kicked in, but I'm happy you were able to get some sleep.
Maybe the next time you'll break that score!

Next time I go I think I'll sniff some spray paint and perfume to bring on the worst 10 I've ever had if I can shoot an 81!  Glad you were able to get out and play.

Ave.........no, Im not ten times as tough as the rest of you......I didnt mean to inply that I am....I was just relating a story.....let me tell you something....I have had Kip 10's at work and had to continue teaching....people dont come in to relive you two to three times a day for months because you tell them you have a brutal "headache".....Im sure all of us just continue on the best we can....I was a guest in a group of four and could not leave the golf course....it would not have been the right thing to do....besides, not one of the other players would have understood what I was going through....also....I have been in much worse places ( while gettin hit with a CH) and have been in much worse circumstances, as Im sure we all have....again.....I'm not any tougher than anyone.....would I have rather have been home at the time?....yes......Tony 18/6

Tony,

I know what you mean about you got to keep on going.  I commute an hour and a half to work.  However since December my trip looms on the verge of two.  Nothing lilke bumper to bumper mixed with an 8 to bring on a little "Road Rage"  (I can understand the term) but you go to keep on moving.

Hi Tony18/6
I don't know shit about golf but man you done well continuing on when being hit like that.I can relate to  being in situations when people just don't understand and you just suffer without saying a word.
I worked in the burns unit, many times i was stuck in a cubicle with a patient who just had extensive skin grafts. My job was to hold arms ,legs etc while they diathermed the many bleeding areas...Having a kip 10 while trying to focus on the task at hand was nearly impossible.
I'm sure all of us have tales involving similar situations, guess it's a matter of survival...these times do pass and always will.

Sorry to hear that your game was interrupted by the cranium storm from hell.
On the bright side, I think I may have found the cause of Greg Normans famous chokes at the end of a round. Anyone know if he is a Clusterhead? Cool
