I had CH for about 15 years a number of years ago. It was of the Norton Syndrome type and episodic. Before I left for vacatio about 20 years ago, my ENT gave me a vial to inject intermuscular to give me some relief. After a few months, I realized that I might have been cured. Infact, I have not had an episode since that day. I can empathize with anyone that has had the disease, and the terrible debilitating pain. The Dr has since retired but thinks that the treatmentm was agressive antihistamine injections. I would hate to thank that this simple history is going ignored while so many are suffering. I will thankfully and gladly give all the time I can to help find a cure for this disease. If you know any ENT's or neurologist interested in my caseplease have them call or e-mail me. I am 65 and have had a lot of pain, but believe me nothing approaches CH. May God be with you during your suffering.

Sorry Donsurbeck I don't want to sound dismissive, and I am genuinely very, very happy for you and wish I was in the same boat but it would be good to know what was in these magic vials. I for one was given large dose antihistamines as a preventative but it did diddly squat apart from making me drugged and fat. W the B

I'm happy for you and hope this horror never returns. As you can see by this site, we need all the help we can get. It would be a good thing if we could know more. For instance: A vial of what? Perhaps it was a steriod of some type? Take care and let us know. Charlie
