about 16 hours ! I recived this letter below today from the server! I am sorry for the problems but hopefully all this change will help chat run better.
Dear Johnnie Holloman,
We will physically move all servers from LA to Atlanta starting Friday,
May 23rd. We decided to perform a physical move (as opposed to a
"wire" transfer over the Internet), because it positions us to minimize
total performance impacts to your server(s), avoid incompatibilities
created with new hardware, and help ensure that your server will continue to
perform at its current level after the move.
The physical move is scheduled to start Friday, May 23rd at 9:00PM PDT
and end on Saturday, May 24th at 12:00PM PDT. We scheduled this
migration to occur during lower-volume weekend hours to minimize the impact
of downtime, estimated at approximately 14-16 hours.
