I just got a call from a friend of mine. One of our shotgun buddies from the gun club was in a terrible accident last night....hit by a semi that blew a light. He's in critical condition...in a coma and is undergoing brain surgery right now.
I've seen miracles on this board...if you all wouldn't mind saying a prayer or sending him good vibes, I'd really appreciate it. His name is Doug...he's a little man and is always in constant motion. I call him Dougie the Wart Hog. He coached me in one shotgun dicipline once and it enabled me to win the club championship. He's a good guy with a heart of gold....just remarried a couple years ago and is finally happy. I try not to question but why does this shit happen. I'm rambling so I'll hush now....

I've lived the brain injury sh*t for the past six years... wife was in a coma and rehab facility six months... still not fully recovered. Here are a couple of good websites for you, your friend's friends, and his family to check out:

omg, I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, Jackie. A friend of mine a few years back had the same thing happen to her on her way home from school one night - spent almost a year in the hospital, before the rehab center.
