Time Clock/Forum Time

I finally figured out how to get site "clock/forum time" in time with my area/zone. Up to the minute too. After you have logged in: Go to Profile (under Message Board header) then at lower part of that screen, you will see Preferences section. In that section, you will see Time Offset. I put in +.40 to get my offset right (minutes). Try up & down, +.10 , -.10 , +.20 , -.20 , +.25 , +.30 , -.40 , +.50, etc......whatever works to get "clock" correct for your area. If you have to change hours, this formula may work for that too. Try +1.20 , -2.45 , +1.15 , etc... Whatever time site clock is off compared to your actual area time, use those offset hours/numbers up or down. I think ya get the idea. >This post modified so as to include jonny's help (below, jonny's reply) with the hours thing.... thanks alot Bro! *I know this maybe a silly thing to make note of or post, but I am not as comp literate as some others. I did figure it out finally. I just thought if anyone was having the same clock/forum time problem I was, it was worth explaining & posting. You will see the time clock change to your correct time in your area each time you log/sign in if above done correctly. Hope it helps someone. Thank you for your time (no pun intended). KingOfPain

Dude, It worked. But, what a bitch. I’m on Pacific DST, and I was twisted. Up and down, back and forth, with no rhyme or reason. I suggest that this should only be attempted sober. David J.

I've seen that there before but figure its easier to just look at the bottom of my pc for the correct time. Thanks for the lesson though, I will try it when I have more patience and more time. Suzy
