The bad thing is, As bad as these pictures look, they don't do it justice. It was amazing. We were all outside watching this whole cloud rotate counter clockwise. I mean the whole thing. and it was sucking up smaller clouds too.

I nor none of my 22 employees had ever seen anything like this either. You cant tell in the pictures, but there were cool Aquamarine swirls throughout it that was really neat. I wasn't concerned for me because we handle all the communicatons for Whiteman Air Force Base so our building is made pretty well. My family on the other hand was a different story. As I watched this thing travel East, I was very concerned as my home is on the East side.

Reverend, Glad to see you around again. I hope that you and your family are well. I grew up in Independence, the Ruskin Heights tornado, was the worst while I was there. I have since traded the middle of the night sirens for earthquakes. After being in 3 Big Ones (Northern and Southern CA), I tweak when a heavy truck passes by. Stuff happens no matter where you live. Incredible photos. I see my parents in the front yard looking up to see if there are any funnel clouds, and my brother and I screaming for them to come inside and go to the basement. Peace to you, David J.

| Outside? I live smack dab in the middle of Tornado Alley & I definitly would not have been outside for long with the sky looking like that. Thanks though for the pics, they are way kewl. A few of them look like the scenes from the movie Independence Day. KingOfPain(heading for shelter with weather like that)

We have some more big storms headin into Ohio......with big time heavy rain. We just had part of a hill along the road (steep hills here) let go from the past rain and slide down across the road with huge trees in the clumps....the trees are standin like they have been growin there forever on the berm......more rain worries me! The county to set a flashing light in front of the slide mess and left it go. Not sure where all this new rain is gonna go and I am scared shitless of tornados. Got a feelin we'll have an involuntary road block if we get more terrential rains. YIPES.....tornado shy Pam
