Questions for any clusterhead

I just found this site, thank God. Does alchol effect everyone's clusters? I have dealt with these demons for eight years and the medication has been somewhat successful but in the last month it seems that a single glass of wine will result in a headache a couple of hours later. It isn't exact. How does alchol effect yours? I will become a regular here in the summer. I am a teacher. Thank you, thank you whoever is responsibe for this place. tannero

DJ is the creator of the site. As far as alcohol. Many of us have that as a trigger. For me I can drink Miller High Life (only), and white zinfindel. Anything else kicks my a ss.

Tannero... Just look down a couple of posts...to " How about a , Beer". This question was just asked and may give the info you're looking for. But.... I'm episodic, and a beer or any other type of alcohol will always set off a cluster when I'm in cycle. Welcome aboard... search around. You'll find a lot of information. Jim

Sometimes I think looking at alcohol while in cycle will give me a CH. In my current cycle (on 480mg verp) I have had some alcohol and got away with it. I guess I’m just getting old. Before this cycle alcohol always triggered a CH. My CHs have not been predictable since I started using imitrex. PFD, stevek

Alcohol is a definite trigger for me and I know it is the alcohol because it will bring on an attack within 30 minutes max of the first sip, usually within 10 minutes. But I use it to push the timing of attacks back. That and as I said in the other post, I refuse to let the beast dictate what I can and cannot do. Sherry BTW, Welcome!
