How good and bad post have helped me !

I remember when I came to ch.com I spent a lot of my time hiding my pain from family , friends and co workers. They knew I was in pain, but most thought I over reacted to it. I learned to just walk away and hide. I meet a man name Drummer from ch.com his real name Dave. Dave taught me a lot. He taught me not to hide, not to be ashamed of tears that feel from the pain. He also taught me how to hold my head up high and tell it like it is when it comes to clusters and the pain. He taught me how to talk to doctors and take charge of my own treatments. He taught me how to talk to friends and family and help them understand.
When other health problems not related to clusters hit me. I used all he taught me to make it.
I guess sometimes I get hard on people and I say hey get off your pity pot and do something. I know a lot of you get mad at me. I know I got mad at Dave a time or two. You know what I sure am glad he was there to push me and make me see. That I couldn't count on the Doctors or Drug companys alone. I had to do my own research and then go in and talk to my doctors and let them know I knew as much as they did when it came to clutsters. Dave also taught me to say hey I need help or I need a friend.
Dave gave me something that probley saved my life.
Dave will always be a idiot but he will always be my favorite idiot! (Dave was and still is ch.com's idiot inside joke)!
Dave was not the only one that gave me what for from time to time. DJ, Bob P, Margi,Jack, Jackie, Judy, Paco, Ted , Todd, Michelle and few others here. The support that stands out the most and helped me the most here were the people who told me like it was.
The sugar coated sweet email and Post were wonderful and they gave me great feelings and it helped to know so many people were pullin for me. They were there when I needed a gentel hand as we all sometimes do
The laughter on days I hurt so bad I just wanted to stop. The post some of you hated that Margi and I did. The Mizz Holloman and Mizz Twitch posted created by Margi, because she knew I was in so much pain and needed a smile bad. So many joined in on that and sure made some bad days good.
The fights here well to be honest, getting mad can help also. You can get so mad at someone that you just fight that much harder.
I fought hard to servive both clusters and Cancer!
1. reason was because someone told me I couldn't fight and win. I hate for someone to tell me I can't!!!!
2. Someone said they wished I would die. Sorry but I am not into making ass holes wishes come true!
3. They were so many people counting on me to make it, I couldn't let them down.
4. I had to see my grandson born now I have to see him grow up! I don't want him to see me in pain or here I can't go see him play ball cause I have a cluster.
5. I wasn't ready to leave my family!Buddy and I made a promise to grow old together I don't like breaking promises.
All post are support of some kind ! Maybe you don't think a certain thread is what should be here. But maybe its because you don't see the whole story, maybe you don't see that a funny thread or a fight is good. It might be just what someone needs.

Once upon a time.... ;D....I was going through a rough time in my life. I decided to see someone to talk it out. Sometimes when I was with him I'd cry....sometimes when I was with him I'd cuss, rant and rave (which was most of the time). One day he told me, "I like you much better when you're mad, you're much more productive".......I was reminded of this when I read your post, E. It kinda goes along with what you're saying....

See........this has always been a mystery to me. I have not come across this "bad post" and, respectfully, request clarification............
A post is a post. A sufferer is a sufferer. What is good. And, what is bad? Archives and present info suggests this is a small and pimplimentational miniscule number..............
Am I wrong Elaine, or are most of us simply sharing a common denomiator?
PS: Soooooooo, foot rub or what?

Where Zactly did ya see the phrase "Bad Post" in my post! Read and re-read it did not Zactly see those words used.
But to answer your question. There is good and bad in everything! Been that way since God made Adam and Eve. But some times bad can be good. Yes we all have a
a common denomiator? Its called pain and need. I don't believe a lot of people here have cluster pain, but I believe they are here out of some kind of pain. Lonelyness, a broken heart, migrain pain, Cluster Pain, supporters heart pain. We are all in some type of pain and we all need some kind of support to easy that pain.
Ch.com will never be a ALL cluster board again. I except that and my point is all post that I have read in the last four years have all been good for something.
I don't do windows and I don't do feet sorry!!!!

I ask you to show me WHY you no longer see CLUSTER pain here. I see it clearly Elaine. It's ALL AROUND ME. I'm so glad that the opportunity for this has EVOLVED. I'm SO GLAD that we no longer have to be isolated bumpkins meeting in some garage in rochester................!
you yourself introduced the idea of good and bad posts and how both have helped you in your evolution through cluster illness............and yet you have not identified good and bad posts.......................once again i ask that you clarify your subject matter.................
if ya ain't into foot rubs it's cool. i could care less.

You are so right ! I did have that in the title! How stupid of me. I would think since so many complain about the posting on here that the fighting and name calling would be what most would call bad. I call them all good post see like I said I believe all post to be good.
Title should have been all post are good.
You don't see my point and if I drew you a picture I don't believe you would see my point either. You seen to be more intrested in something else.
Enough said ! Hope your feet get better !

Great post. I appreciate the way you are honest in what you say about what you think. One never has to wonder what you really think! ;D
I agree with you tht some of the posts that have done me the most good are the ones that get me mad because I get my mind on that instead of how bad my head hurts! And then the laughs! When I sit here at my computer and laugh so loudly at some of the shenanigans being carried on her that I wake my wife it really helps forget the pain. And then the caring expressed by you all when someone is really going through a rough time is priceless. I could not have made it through the last year without this board.
