My Guess.... "The significant feature of CH is its association with autonomic symptoms, and it is extremely unusual for these to be reported. The International Headache Society classification diagnostic criteria require the cluster attacks to be accompanied by at least one of the following, which have to be present on the pain side: conjunctival injection (bloodshot eye), lacrimation (teary eye), miosis (constricted pupil), ptosis (droopy eyelid), eyelid edema (swollen eyelid), rhinorrhoea (runny nose), nasal blockage, and forehead or facial sweating. The autonomic features are transient, lasting only for the duration of the attack." OUCH

Hey guys ... hope you are all doing ok. I keep ya in my prayers all the time hoping and a praying that some of you find relief from the dreaded beast. I have. I have been out of cycle since the end of October and am every so grateful for that. I do keep one eye on the board though ... just in case someone needs some extra help. I do most of my support thru PM's as I have a hard time keeping up with the news on the board (as some of you know, I still have hubby to take care of) Juvy, to answer your question ..... it has nothing to do with the disease, but more a matter of my own personal conviction to turn "one eye blind" to some of the nasty posts on the message board. When I first joined this board it offered so much to me. I was in pain looking for answers. I found them here. But as time wore on I saw the "ugly" side rear it's head with hateful and spiteful posts. Because of that I quit the board for awhile. And then decided that I needed to take a wise man's advice "and take what I need and leave the rest". (thank you Den for always reminding us of that). I rejoined but changed my name. I now, every time I log on, remind myself that I can turn One Eye Blind to hateful things, take what I need, leave the rest, and PM those who I think need an extra boost. Hence .... OneEyeBlind was born.
