Sorry, I didnt mean to leave anyone out OF MY PICK in best supporter, there are lots of great supporters here I just wanted to start a thread for Paul.

Thats a tough one jonny. There are so many that step up to the plate whenever someone is needing an answer to a question, or a caring person to communicate with. I could not choose anyone over another.
DJ - having created this avenue of support is the one who has given all of us the great gift.
I was crushed when you left me off. I felt like someone had licked the red off my candy. I'll probably be in therapy for years getting over this. ;D

That's a toughie for sure.
So many people on here do so much in the way of support. Ree and Margi are real supporters supporters. Elaine is a fierce and passionate advocate. Peppermint is a wonderful addition to give us some outside perspective. Linda H would do anything for anyone. Jonny is always working on something new for someone. DJ gave us this home. Mast and N4 have worked hard on the O2 page getting done (not excluding the people who contributed to it, just saying they got the finished product up and running). Rox has busted her ass to get our cookbook done. Don has done some great things in his presidential role. Slammy always works to bring us laughter. Echo, well, he's echo! Always a helping hand from him. Sommelier has gone the mile to get us some high profile attention. Hell Yeah for Opus. Drk always has a great way of welcoming new folks. Ted keeps us up to date and laughing. Charlie, you couldn't ask for a sweeter soul. BobP and Sarah keep us on track with OUCH.
Those are just those in the tip of the iceburg here in general posts. There's a whole group in meds and supporters that are great too. It's hard to pick just one.
Everyone who hangs around here in pain free times and helps out is aces in my book.
I'm just too indecisive to try to pick one.

Not to make anyone feel badly, but a couple of special ones come to my mind...
Margi - who is intelligent, and feisty
Elizabeth (AKA Alien Space Babe) - will always have a special place in my heart.
DJ - because he is the best
Charlie - cause I've always enjoyed his warmth and humor
Slammy - makes me laugh out loud
Mast (Michelle) and Elaine - because they keep the chat going
Den and Georgia - what's not to love?
Jonny - what can anyone say?
And everyone else who has offered real, caring assistance to our crazy family.

I didn't mean to start a 'who's the best supporter' thread either. I just wanted to mention Marty because in my opinion he's really gone above and beyond - guess I should have started a new thread. Didn't mean to steal Paul's thunder at all.
Trying to pick the BEST supporter is like trying to decide who's the best sufferer. How can anyone decide that? We each deal with pain (sufferer pain OR supporter pain) differently and express ourselves in our own individual ways.
Sorry to hear about Pepe, Jonny. That sucks.

Here's my "pick of the litter".....and there are four of them in a dead nuts tie....
Elaine, Jonny, NancyC and Margi.
These people helped me get Blake through the absolute worst, longest, hardest, most painful and meanest cycle ever!!!! (He's chronic but still cycles....sometimes much worse than others)
So there's my pick......the 'supporters, supporters'

Impossible question to answer but ...Dj gave us this place.....Cootie & Pepperooo don't even get these damn things & they are always there to welcome us newbies and are very supportive to everyone....Zazi & Roxy , get hammered as much as anyone & always are there for everyone else...Jonny, what can ya say... He wasted a beautiful saturday waiting on me so he could give me, a total stranger, an oxygen tank & would take nothing in return. I could go on & on & on.....

For one you were not a total stranger, your a clusterhead.
Two, its not a waste when I think I can take any pain away no matter what day it is!!!
Three, I do not and never have charged for anything I do.....Just meeting you and being your first clusterhead to meet was enough for me.

I am going to throw my two cents in right now - for whatever they may be worth right now. Hmm...that is probably not much right at this moment but still...
As much as all of you mean to me, which is a ton and no matter how much I thank DJ for this site, I have to choose someone else who has done more than anyone could imagine.
My favorite, no votes needed, supporter and, one for the record, is Marty.
He took a perfect stranger, me though far from perfect, without a second thought. He saved my life to be honest without hesitation and though things got so bad with the hits - he NEVER quit on me and never thought about it either.
He even flew to Maryland with me on Saturday night to be with me through dad's death and put so much on the line.
He is my hero, just as my dad is.

She's "best" cuz she has all these "bests" going for her:
she's always here
she stays out of or tries to calm the fights
she is always in a good mood
she always has her turtle sing happy birthday to everyone
she never flames
she is always enthusiastic
she is a good supporter to her husband, children and everyone on this board
she is always kind
she is always willing to help
she never gives anyone a reason to dislike her
she gets migraines and doesn't complain ;D
and... according to Jonny she wears pink thongs and evidently can tolerate them for more than 15 min. LOL
But truly, I think there are sooo many here that are the best! Margi, Elaine, Jonny, NotH2O, Not4Hire, Dark, Echo, Charlie, Ted, Don, Cat, Slammy, Marty, Roxy, Opus, brain_cramps, Zaira, SFChris, Den and Georgia, and just so many more! Each contributing something that is needed here and without which, would leave this board lacking something.
And it was DJ who made it all possible and who lets us all be ourselves, take our knocks and learn our lessons.
This is a REMARKABLE group! Everyone! Give yourselves a pat on the back!

The best supporter in a physical way would have to be jonny, He has the means to help with o2 equipment and he uses it by sending people the parts they need. I have many friends who have been helped by him.
My vote for my personal supporter would have to be Zaira, even though she has pain much worse than I ever dreamed of she will send me a message when I most need it. It's not that somehow she knows I need a "pick me up" but it's that She acts on that knowledge. Please, don't get mad at my choice, there are lots at a very close second.
My opinion is that anyone who helps someone unselfishly is supporter of the century.
A for Zazi, and a to all the bowlers, you know who you are.
