Hey All…It's Aki...
So I haven’t posted for awhile…BUT I’m still here. I
see a resurgence of interest in my video “The Beast Attacks.” (My e-mail full of requests) 
THANK YOU to the people who stuck up for my
copyright…and well the rest of you can go to hell…oh
wait a minute, if you suffer from C.H. you’re already there!!! – LOL…. 
Anyway, I can still make copies for anyone that wants one.

This winter I went through a horrible bout of C.H.
For the first time ever, I got them TWICE a day AND at night. What a fuck-up.
I went to the emergency room a couple of times,
begging for Imitrex and OXYGEN…but they said “we don’t administer oxygen for migraines….”
…I don’t have a fucking migraine…I'm sure you know the whole routine...
I even gave a video to the guy who gave me a nerve
block so he could better understand what he was
fixing…I even had to tell him where to inject in the nerve…
Then he had the NERVE to bill me! Doctors are a joke.
I hope that the video will help explain your
affliction to others. I have found having a copy
handy for people to watch has saved much frustration…
Thanks for your interest in the video.
If you can avoid pirating the video, I would greatly appreciate it...

That's terrific that you still can get the video for us!
Can it be put on DVD from your end or do we have to buy it on video cassette?
I'm thinking it will make a great door prize for the convention

Thanks for your response...
I haven't gotten the video on DVD...yet. I can look into it.
I have no problem DONATING a couple of videos for door prizes at the convention.
When is it?

I see there is some confusion over copyright laws in the U.S. and abroad.
You violate copyright if you:
Copy the video for ANY reason without specific written consent from the owner.
You show the video and CHARGE money for the viewing
(It’s OK to show it to any amount of people if you DON’T CHARGE money)
It’s OK to make a BACKUP copy, as long as the original is stored and NOT passed around.
It is a violation of copyright laws to show the video on any type of broadcast entity – TV, radio, Internet, etc.
Quoting from the video in press or magazines is also a violation of copyright (without written permission)
I have no problem with you sharing…but when I see you guys talking about “burning off a dozen copies…” THAT pisses me off…
You do realize that you are WRITING your intent to violate my copyright on a web site…right?
If you REALLY think the FBI doesn’t prosecute copyright infringement, you are naively mistaken.
I hope I have cleared up some of your questions…

Oh wow! That just rocks Aki!! The convention is July 18, 19, and 20th. The page is up on the OUCH site, so you better get over there and register
I would be very interested in getting the video on DVD. I know it will cost more, but I would rather have something that is going to last longer, not to mention the fact that we don't have a VCR in the living room anymore.
My hubby has already emailed you about getting a copy. Please let me know if the DVD is feasible and how much it will be

Let's see. Hook VCR up to ATI video capture card and record to hard drive. Burn DVD from hard drive.

I have no intention of violating your copyright. With that being said, can one of use make you a DVD version or CD version (mpg) of the video so you can distribute according to your own wishes? My only goal is to make this easy to view, easy to mail, easy to pass on. VCR tapes are bulky, unreliable in their own way, and a lot of use don't even use VCRs anymore.
Just an idea. Don't want to piss you off, just help.

Hey there, I'm working on the DVD thing...I e-mailed Kirk to get it going.
I never thought there would be such a big demand for it on DVD. 
If you can stand seeing it on VHS, e-mail your requests to me...I can get you a copy sooner right now.
