OUCH was started in June 1999 in a garage in Rodchester NY! five clusterheads met and got the ball rolling. I was very excited. Just as excited as I was when I found ch.com.
To get the word out to the WORLD, to make people see that this pain is REAL, it friggen HURTS, It causes some people to give up on life. It causes depression and much more.
The world does not see ch.com only clusterheads and their supporters see this and maybe a doctor or two.
We can support each other and we can talk to each other and its a life saver for us all here on ch.com. I want more I want to be able to look at my neighboro, my Doctor, my drugist, my insurance company, my co-workers, my boss, and say I have clusters and they know what it is with out me having to go through a hour telling them. I want to see a drug advirtised on TV that says If you have Cluster Headaches this is the drug for you!!!! I want the word Cluster Headaches to be as common as the word Cancer , I want it to be know that well!
I spent 19 years in a closet thinking I was crasy and I only one who had these things. I endured pain that was so bad that I spent 19 years running and hiding in the bathroom at work hopeing to hide it, because people thought I was over reacting to a MIGRAIN. I learned to hide things, I missed important days in my family and my life, out of fear of what people would think, say or do if they saw me having a attack. I even feared my children being taken from me.
I had shock treatment, they thought I was crazy. Ever had 13 series of shock treatment. The old fashion way not the new way! Its no friggen fun I can tell you I had it done. Ever had all your teeth pulled because they thought that was the reason for your pain at the age 22. Ever sat in the corner of a room on the floor with pain so bad yu thought if someone would just step on your head and bust it you would be ok the pain would drin out, like a pimple, mash it and the pain goes away.
Ever sat in that corner in pain and wondered if this was your time to die. The pain was so bad you just knew your body couldn't take any more a vain would bust or something and you would die. I have!!!
You can give all the excuses you want to! I don't join groups, I don't have time, I don't like the way things are being done by the officers, I don't have the money, I don't know how to do any thing that would help.
Big time BULL CRAP all of those reasons!!!!!! I have had all those feelings and thoughts. I never gave up on O.U.CH. I steped down for fresh ideas and some health issues I personally had.
I did my thing for four years with O.U.C.H. ! I pushed I bitched and I took a leave of absents !!! I never gave up on it, just had to regroup!
Now I am back and as always behind O.U.C.H. and the reason for it!!! The reason is simple!!!!
To set All Cluster Heads Free!!!!
If you want freedom from the demon, then make it happen! Get off your butts and form O.U.C.H. in your state. Get a hold of the Officers and help get things done.
TALK IS CHEAP!!! NOW STOP TALKING AND START DOING!
May 17th on a Saturday anyone from Georgia want to meet and get something started meet me at Red Lobster on Tara Blvd.
at 2pm. I will be there with Bells on. Anyone needing a motel or wanting to stay at my house email me and will give you information!

I'm new to this, so I apologize for pissing everybody off.
I'm trying to find ways to cope. I never knew there were others. I've never seen or heard of anyone going through this. I just spend my nights by myself on the floor...ROTFMOL (roll on the floor, moaning out load)
Somebody asked me today how my weekend was...
I didn't know how to answer...
"I had a headache" trivialized the whole thing.
I'd love it if people knew what I meant, but I can't expect them to.
I'm almost in tears just remembering saturday's 10...

Hey, Vig- Nobody wants you hurting either. it's all about rowing together.
Elaine is here to help everyone row- get it? Sometimes, that seems like cheerleading- but it works. I highly suggest you read the archives- page by page, beginning to end- you'll get the plot, as well as learn to understand the primary players. These are good people here, who will stand by you as well.....but you've gotta know the gang first. I hope you will.
BTW- Vig- you haven't even SEEN a rant yet........stand by!

Vig Hi and welcome to Cluter Heaven! Cluster Hell is going it alone!!
There is help and hope for you and all here.
Vig I was Chronic for over 20 years, I have been pain free now since September!!!! I would love to see everyone here pain free. I got this way by listening to others reading this board from top to bottom. I learned not to hide in a closet! It sure does feel good. I know as well as I know my name that I will get hit again, I just don't know when. I also know that I will never forget the pain and all Clusters caused me and my family!!!!
I am not beating up on anyone. I am just saying lets work together and join O.U.C.H. Its free !!!! But lets not stop there lets get together and work work like mad to make it KNOWN !!!!!That is what I plan to do! Stick around you will make a lot of friends here if you want to. I will find a way to put you to work !!!
