I can finally drink my Guinness!

It's been too long this cycle was longer than the previous ones by a month and a half (most of them were 2 months long). I couldn't have one drink at Christmas, New Year, SuperBowl, etc

The day I moved into my new house (reason I've been away) I said F.. it! Let's see if I'm out of cycle. I had two Guinness that night. It was the sweetest beer ever. I've had only one CH or more likely a shadow in the last week. But I might be out of the woods for now.

Lets celebrate!! Cool Cool

Glad you're in the clear, but you don't have to go and rub the beer thing in like that.... ass.  Grin

Besides, why drink a Pot Roast-in-a-Glass, when you can have a Mich Light?...

Ozz,

You're making me jealous.  I have two beers of chioice.  Guinness is my winter choice and Sierra Neveda Pale Ale is my summer Beer.

This cycle has pretty much killed me for the winter beer drinking.  Here's to hoping I get to have some Sierra!

Have a Guinness for me!

Chin, chin, down the hatch!

Snuffster, you are a man of taste and discernment. Guinness is wonderful stuff, but I remember drinking Sierra Nevada in searing heat in a bar overlooking Death Valley. A great holiday memory.
Shame about the German tourists though, they thought it was a good idea to go for a nice walk and were not seen again.

Cheers to you, wish I could join you for one!!

Since I'm new to the board, could anyone tell me if it's just me or does drinking really mess with your CH more??

I used to be a heavy drinker (8-9 Ozs of rye a day, everyday), but haven't had a sip since the beast has returned (16 days ago).

Thanks for any response and I'd like to say that this site rocks....lots of help....lots of support.... ;D

Hi Left eye.  Most clusterheads should avoid alcohol and/or nitroglycerine.  General consensus is that they are nearly guaranteed to precipitate a CH attack.  But there are exceptions of course.  Therefore when a clusterhead can drink alcohol, it is quite a big deal.  My last drinking was... September 2001 or something like that.

With alcohol, even in the offseasason/off-cycle I get shadows, nothing bad, just a reminder. Anyone else?
