NYC to Convention

Hi everyone,

I was figuring a cost and time effective route from NYC to the convention since as with most everyone else, finances are an issue.

Suzy and I are planning to meet (jury's still out till after tax time to whether I can afford this Roll Eyes )and travel up there together via plane and shuttle between Syracuse and the resort.  Neither one of us trusts our cars to make it there before the convention is over Smiley.
Is there anyone else in the NYC area out there who might want to get together for the trip up?  However we get up there, it might be a nice way to start off - and, if anyone is willing/wants to drive a caravan up there, it might be a fun road trip to boot.  Just an idea tossed out to me...... I'm thinking it might be a more affordable way to get clusterheads to the convention (renting a car from NYC would kill on the mileage).

If not, we can all still fly up on Jetblue, 106. round trip (tax and etc. included), and then travel on a shuttle (90. roundtrip) or share a car rental cost from Syracuse to Watertown.  I'm almost sure this was mentioned before but no one's picked up on that thought so I'm just bringing it back out.

Any thoughts anyone?  Anyone else in NYC area planning to go???

Jonny - doesn't look like Jetblue flies from Boston - didn't see it on the list...  Angry

Mast - thinking of Friday morning - only 2 flights a day to Syracuse..so we'd get into the SYR airport about 10:30am (only 1 hour flight).

It would be nice to do a mini road thing SYR to the Resort - start it off with a bang!  Smiley
