Dear Mr. Young, Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding support for your 2003 conferance in upstate New York. We were very fortunate to be in a position last year to support the group's meeting, however, we regret that budget constraints will not allow for funding of this and many other requests that we are recieving for support. Thank you and best wishes for a successful and productive meeting. Sincerely, Terry M. Andries Market Development Director Glaxo SmithKlien Inc. I will open a discussion on the BOD page of OUCH regarding an appropriate response. PLEASE. If you are not on the BOD of OUCH do not respond to the discussion on the BOD page. I'm trying to keep this as simple as possible. Thanks don

And you know why? GSK lost a $4.5 Billion, with a B boys and girls, suit in Chicago in March along with a few more suits pending. Thanx for trying Don.

A lot, however.... Last year they contributed $2500.00. To my knowledge no one else has done that. They have also provided the med that has helped a large majority of CHers. They also have Case Managers that will work with individuals to address insurance companies. We need to pick our battles carefully, with professionalism, and with sensitivity.

Don, You've done a wonderful job! I know there are some other proposals out there as well, so we can hope that perhaps they didn't have a bad year. You are doing great things Mr. President! We are already getting inquiries from physicians regarding the convention and even if we have to do this on a low budget (or I have to pay out of my own pocket) we will have one of the best forums available to us this year. We have 2 confirmed and knowledgeable physicians speaking as well as awaiting other replies from Dr's and pharmaceutical companies to come and speak on research. We are only just beginning folks, so make sure if you want to be heard, and you want to learn, you register and get your ass to this convention! We are open doors of golden opportunity for us here, and it will continue to get better every year. Not only are we going to have a great time, we are going to get something accomplished Okay, I'll get off the soapbox now LOL Cat
