I tried O2 this year but unfortunately it was ineffective and I'm a (1-pack-per-day) smoker. May it any relationship between ineffective O2 and smoking? ??? Totka

I tried 02 for the first time this past week. I smoke 1 to 1-1/2 a day. The first 2 times it didnt work so I asked the ppl here. After I was informed the proper way(I wasnt using it long enough) then it worked. How long are you using it? Takes 15-20 minutes at 10lpm for me. I was only using it for 10 minutes.. not long enough. Make sure you cover the hole on the mask too.. the one without the diaphram.... Good Luck

totka, Years ago I smoked 3-4 packs a day and the O2 worked each and every time. My son didn't think oxygen worked for him until I watched him and made sure he did it properly, now he is a believer. Please describe how you are using the O2. Good luck Rick T

12-15 lpm NRB mask about 15 mins. I tried it once up to 30 mins but nothing. I can endure my HA to KIP 7-8 and Imigran works correctly in 3-5 mins. As well as it isn't easy to get O2 at home over here. It's strictly for lung problem.

I smoke 1- packs a day & O2 works for me 80% of the time. Try to get to it as soon as you feel the attack coming on.... Good Luck! Hope it starts working for you.... Kev C
