??? When i am not in a cycle, sometimes i wake up with a red eye, my pupil constricted, my nose stuffy or running on the effected side, and sometimes a droop to go with it. Is this a part of CH? I might wake up with a dull headache to go with it, or develope one later in the day. any answers would help childinside

Hi Childinside. I'm familiar with what you're talking about. I used to get CH for 6 months and then remission for 6 months. But the cycle that started in Sept 2001 wouldn't leave. Then in October 2002 the full-blown CH attacks left, but ever since then I still get all the other symptoms (the so called 'silent attacks')... the red burning watery eye, stuffy nose, pressure behind eye, brief shooting zap pains. Then a couple of weeks ago, the full-blown CH started again and became loud attacks. I don't know why they went silent or why they came back, or whether that means I'm chronic or episodic. ???
