Funny how songs like that brings back old memories to sum.....yet I have a large group a freinds that play this music all the time and lot of em are half my age.....call em new age hippies or deadheads but there awesome. They have big festivals and parties......suma the bands open for concerts....with a Janice Joplin, Hendrix, Pink Floyd,Stevie Ray and Greatful Dead mix. I really enjoy it....even tho I love rock too big time....Kinda fun ta jump back 'n forth into the erra's even to this day ! Am lookin forward to summer here in Ohio. An ole hippie chick still liven in both worlds but hasn't jumped the fence yet.....Pam

Wow. That just made me remember when I drove a mudd brown maverick with ear phones blasting and lawn mowers stickin outa the trunk......... (paid for school by "landscaping" One time I was so INTO the music I did not realize that the mower fell outa the trunk and was rolling down the street Eventually got things unner control. Green sneakered memories Thanks SAIL ps: my babies know that song.

I got ya beat, Cat. My first car was a red Envoy Epic. 4 door. 3 on the tree. I bought it from my grandmother for $200 when I was 17. I bet that thing is STILL going. And I also bet is still smells like mothballs, too.

;D ;D OK Margi, How's this, might beat yours, I had a Black 1955 Rambler Station Wagon, Called the "Magic Bus" It used more Oil than Gas and cost me a whopping $200.00 the first weekend I had it My Dad made me drive him from Miami up to Belleview Florida( about 190 miles each way) After we got there I hooked up with some old friends and went crusing, we got off into a park where the Grass was still wet with Dew, I turned the wheel to head to the left but the car kept going straight, sliding on the dewy grass, we fell into a ditch that was as deep as the car was long, had to have a wrecker come pick it up and out of the ditch and it didn't put a scratch on it. Lots of good memories in that Old car, I think the song Magic Bus was done by the "who" and that was a magic bus! Pappy
