Here are some things I found hidden away in a corner in the Buffalo News the other day:
 
Chance that an American says the new Department of Homeland Security makes the nation “a lot safer”: 1 in 8.
 
Percentage of change since fall 2000 in the number of documents classified by the federal government: (plus) 44.
 
Number of countries the Justice Department has advised since 1981 on the creation of freedom of information policies: 73.
 
Just some stuff to ponder.  Not really sure what it means exactly but I don’t much like it.
