More CH Patterns

I had posted on a different topic about some patterns that I had noticed with CHs, I don't know if its true for others but here is gist of it:

Ok,
I think I'm gonna have to disagree. If Imitrex produced rebound headaches due to its half life once the effect wears off you would get another one. If the Imitrex 1/2 life is 2.5 hours we would get and average of 9 CHs a day.

I believe that the cycle starts off slow (for most of us, chronics are adifferent beast altogether, Jonny in particular, LOL), slow both in pain level, duration and frequency. When I'm nearing the peak I get 4 or 5 a day and without abortives they reach a hellacious K 8-10. I can almost always recognize the true peak when I get a K 10 for more than three hours, where no med actually works.

I've been a clusterhead for over 14 years and it seems that the cycle frequency, and duration are increasing. The pattern is similar to individual cycles, only in a larger scale. I don't know if the pattern is the same, then that would indicate that in a few years the "peak" of my cluster history will be to become chronic.

I have another pattern/question for all. Most clusterheads have cycles in the spring and fall, mine are winter and sometimes summer. Most cycles start with two CHs a day. Now the question is are spring/fall people more likely to get CHs midmorning and after midnight and winter/summer people more likely to get CHs midday/midnight? If there is a connection or pattern it would be interesting, no idea what it would mean, may be more circadian rhytms or something. That would be for researchers to decide.

Please let me know.

Ozzy

PS I know some people once the cycle ramps up get 4-6 a day (I Do)  but then some people get them 3- 4 cycles a year. It is all in the small picture/ big picture theory of mine. Anyway too much rambling

I'm not sure about ANY patterns anymore.

For what its worth:

Besides shorter cycles since being med-free, I only get hit at night (2hrs after I crash).

Maybe I'm too boring for him while awake  ???

Not gonna argue!   Cheesy
