On a roll here, getting as much information as possible before fellow c'heads get sick of responding to my Q's I've been advised that O2 works for a lot of people here. Can you tell me some of your stories - or direct me to a well-known archived thread? Thanks! The night is here. Water, Zomig, extra pillow, and sledgehammer... check! Ok, nappy-noodle time!

hey lachesis.....here's a link....better yet, do a SEARCH on the board for "oxygen, o2, non-rebreather, mask, abortives, etc." we can lead the horses to water (H2O) but we can't make 'em drink.... there's a link fer that, too...... good luck! http://tinyurl.com/4rtg

We have always stated that you must use the non-rebreather mask when using oxygen and I have done it myself. However, I have used the regular mask and the nose plugs and they have all worked for me. The problem with the nose plugs is that my nostril usually is closed and I had to breathe in very deeply to get the flow I felt that I needed. But I have used the regular mask and the non-rebreather mask and both work the same for me. Usually within 10-15 minutes the cluster is gone. My thinking is that the flow the flow is so strong that pure 02 is going into your mouth the same. I guess all that I am saying is if the regular mask is all that you have, it also should be effective for you.

About the only thing I can add to any of this is.....O2 15 ml. per minute, non-rebreather mask, saved my life. Works ALMOST every time. Interesting the nic you chose "Lachesis" might I inquire how you arrived at it? just curious, Cerebus
