Doing one day at a time but who is counting. Every night as REM sleep starts the Bastard hits and then keeps doing his number. Dramamine does not work. Have not tried the Maxalt or Zomig route yet. I am med sensitive and what works best seems to be small amounts of the Imitrex (12-13 mg). Used IM nasal and next day the Big Head Banger arrives. Not quite climbing trees yet, awaiting my first hallucination, truely getting major pissed and I am a man of patience. What keeps me going is that I know it always gets worse before the Beast disappears. Fuck it. There its said and I still don't feel fully vented but I'll work on it. I have Johnny as a model ;D Cry

Paul - you were the first guy to greet me when I started posting and you words of wisdom have helped me. Go ahead and vent, buddy. It helps to keep the fighting spirit going.
I'm sorry you're getting hammered right now, but you've been through it enough to know the routine.
Never give up, never give in. That road only leads to depressions and despair.
Thinking of you

You go right ahead and vent Paul....its good for the soul.
See if your Doc will come off of a few Ambien. Mine will give me a few a month (10) and they help some. 5 & 10 mg avaliable. 5mg will usually work without leaving me groggy in the morning.  However, in full cycle nothing seems to help. Good luck,
Mark

Hey Paul, hang in there.  The sleep deprivation is one of the hardest things to deal with.  Ya just feel like ... well ... you just stop feeling and hope you can keep moving.  One foot in front of the other ..... just keep on keeping on.  And know that if you need to vent ... well, you have come to the right place.

Wishing for some PFDAN's for ya !!!!

Paul, try a Maxalt or Zomig before going to bed. Hopefully that will keep the beast away for a few hours. That's what I'm doing for years, with good success.

Good luck,
Ueli

Paul...

I know it don't mean much when you're in that much pain & so sleep deprived...but vent all you want. You deserve it.

I usually never get hit in the morning from 7am to 1 pm...so I always tried to take a nap once in a while, during those times. Give it a shot. Call off of work for a day, if you have to.

Good Luck, Man.

Saw him in a Victoria Secret flyer just yesterday.

Take a look at it and you should pass out for days.

Hang in there bud. It't wont last for ever. It ends.
