Just curious... When and where is the next OUCH convention? Probably only a slim chance I could come, unless it was someplace within driving distance, like St. Louis. ($$$ !!) Would love to get the chance to meet some of you folks! Regards to all and PFDAN. StanTheMan

Not sure yet. Jayne offered Nashville but not sure if she is till willing. Paco offered Virginny but not sure there either. Catlind offered upstate New Yak but not sure there either. Figured since the new Pres. would have to deal with organizing it, I'd leave the duty to him. I'd like to see it in Scottsdale, AZ in the middle of November ( at the same time as the AHS Symposium). And if not that, then at least send an OUCH rep to the symposium).

Well, shuckee-darn! If everyone's gonna put in a "vote" -- I'll throw in a pitch for Kansas City or St. Louis! (Nice central locations for the continental U.S.) Nashville would be okay. So would Chicago!   StanTheMan

Niagara would be funny. On our side, the place is deserted. The convention center is huge and you can all go across (after Homeland Security gets through with you) and gamble. On our side, you can gamble at Indian casinos somewhere, where native Americans practice their traditions of running casinos, selling gasoline and tobacco. It's something for the whole family that you'll never forget. Charlie

Hmmmm. I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but conventions are usually in the summer months when most people can attend. Scottsdale is good in November but certainly not in summer. ( and it's way expensive) I hate to admit it , but dear ol Slammy certainly has his geography/weather down to a fine science. SF in summer would be great. My vote would be somewhere in the middle of the US. Somewhere we could all get to easily. Kansas !!!! DJ wouldn't have to fly and we could all take a shuttle to Dens house for coffee. Linda

Since we've already had one in Nevada, and in Ga., and Canada, how about southwest Fla? Rates are great anytime before Thanksgiving. I'd do it if Jackie could help. (Subtle Hint)

VERY cool, Slammy :8 It's fitting that the location of the first OUCH Chapter would be the logical choice for the next convention. Meetcha in Malibu, gang! I'm still kinda bummed that Paco and Jayne have dropped their bids, but, Malibu will definately do.

About the house on the cliffs in Palos Verdes........I ain't getting anywhere near that place! One good cluster attack and that house, cliff and all, will be in the ocean, again. I already have cruise tickets to Alaska next July. How about a the convention in Skagway or Juneau? Sitka or Ketchikan maybe?
