My doc just up'ed my verapimel from 240mg 2 times a day to 240mg 3 times a day.
Blue Cross/Blue Shield denied my script.
I hate This!
Now I have to go threw the prossess of getting my doctor to do the medica need thing.

Brother!! You know, nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to the health insurance business.
You should've seen the hoops I had to jump through to convince my HMO that, yes, my doc DID give me a reference to my neuro, who, yes, DID see the necessity for me to have an MRI, MRA, etc.

DougL BCBS can't deny your script, they can only decline to pay for it. Verep is available generically and is reasonable in cost.
Just pay for what they wont while waiting for your appeal to be processed.

It’s all taken care of now.
Between my pharmest and my doctor I now have what I need.
The HMO thought it was being prescribed for high blood presser not
Clusters. Once they got the proper diagnose they gave it up to me.
Whew! Thought it was going to be a battle at first.
