To Cerebus et all

People are caring or so it seems to me. I have been having early afternoon CH attacks. They have been hitting me on the golf course ( I am fortunate enough to be retired and play at this course regularly). The staff and fellow golfers know I suffer from CH and are incredibly supportive. They have seen the tearing red eye, being dropped to me knees by the pain and heard the cry for coffee and a quiet dark space. Am I just lucky? I don't think so. I tell people the CH is a hyperthalmus problem, no cure as yet, some meds work, and the pain is worse than a migraine and that for me it will most often pass in less than a hour. For those who were curious, I shared more; the rest just accepted and were kind.

Paul, I've been lucky too. I shared the same information to all those who are interested. My colleagues, my boss and even my students, know all there is to know about CH. They are very supportive and understanidng. My students don't even want to tell me their problems anymore cause they are afraid the stress will bring on an attack! LOL I have reassured them. The only people who don't really understand are my parents. But they have only seen me in the throes of an attack once and that was 2 weeks ago. They are much more understanding now! ;D To those people who don't get it...I say Fuck you and the horse you rode in on!! hugs Ann
