I have an AMD 900 computer I built better than a year ago. It has an Antec Full tower chassis with 2 30Gb drives, windows 98SE, 386Mb PC133 RAM, Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card, ATI RADEON 64MB DDR Video card, Intel Network Adapter with DSL, Samsung DVD/CDRW combo Drive, Kenwood 72X CD-Rom, Epson Stylus Color 760 Printer, Logitech video camera, Memory Card Reader, and then I also do sound recording so I have a recording studio setup attached.

TRS-80 was da shit. I got paid the big bux (way back when) to write graphics routines that made games from Big 5 work. (these were arcade style games like galaxian, space invaders, etc.) Looking back, this was certainly the source of my clusters. I used to use write my programs directly to floppy with a utility called superzap. It was pretty simple to create a null-length file, and simply keep extending it as your code grew. This meant I was translating assembly into hexadecimal in my head on the fly... I swear, I'd go to sleep at night stumped with a problematic routine, and all night long I'd dream different ways to alter the program, compile it and continue to be frustrated (in the dream). Then, also in the dream, I'd write the correct code, compile it and BANG, it worked. Right then, I'd jump up from the sleep, run to the trusty trash-80 and, sure enough, it would work. This always amazed me. If I only I could figure out how to use this noodle when I was awake... -Fu
