Is anyone every actually in this freaking club! I try chat room, I try IMimg, I try to follow along. It's like some private club. No one seems to want to talk to some one you dont already know. And by the way, this a really hard to club to follow if you happen to ion cycle the first time you visit it. I needed some to talk to, but I guess I'm in the wrong place.

Personally, as a sommelier, I recommend Fernet Bronca over Jagermeister as a digestive, it tastes even shittier, so you don’t drink as much and won’t slur your words.
If you really want people to talk to you, follow my example. Go and look up my first 60 posts and use them as a guideline. I guarantee you will get a response! (and you guys thought I wouldn’t help a newbie). But, be careful what you wish for, these people play with flutes.

Hey Jag, no one knows you. You say no one goes into the chat room (the one on this site, I presume you mean, and no one is there and when you go in no one follows you in. Well, no one knows you either. Your profile tells us nothing but an e-mail address and this is the only post you ever wrote and your name here isn't even a real one. How often do you see a stranger walk in somewhere all alone and just follow them in? And for the PMs, if a complete stranger walked up to you and just started talking to you because they wanted to chat wouldn't you be a little wary of getting into a conversation with them? Post some more and let people know who you are and what your situation is and you'll more than likely find people to talk to, assuming you're not one of the cranks or flakes that also show up here and make us wary of talking to strangers who approach us and just start talking. By the way, posts like your first one might not convince anyone you're not. A good introductory post isn't one where all that's accomplished is complaining that you're feeling chatty and no one's stalking you in a room.

I do my best to be all sweetness & light here but your introduction is a bad start. Telling us what bastards we are because we don’t live here waiting for newbies, who threaten to leave if we don’t fall all over them, kinda misses the mark.
Tell you what: Post again, when you aren’t in too much pain to be coherent, but spend some time, edit the thing as a new document, get away from it for a bit, and come back and see if it’s something you’d like to read. If so, dump it in; you’ll be surprised at how many helpful and friendly responses you’ll get.
We are good at second chances. Believe me, almost all of us have needed them. It’s how our clusterhead family works. I’ll look in now and then and I hope you’re feeling better.

Charlie’s right and I apologize. This is a really cool secret club and you are welcome to join the bus ride. I have never been in a chat room here or anywhere else, so that might not be the best way to communicate. Also, this is only the second message board I have ever posted on. I’m not smart enough to give you hints on your posts, but there is a resident genius who posts now and then, and I hope they won’t mind me repeating their “Hints for your first post” here. So read this and try again. Here it is:
1. Use a word prossesor to compose your message and do a SPELL CHECK there. Then copy and paste it into the text box on the “submit post” page. To do this, highlight your text in the word proscessor, then right click on it, select “copy”. Then go to the submit page, put the cursor over the text box and right click. Select “paste” and you’re done. This will save you from a lot of spelling and grammatical errors.
2. When you post, give as much information as you can about what kind of pain you have i.e. intensity, frequency, location, triggers etc.
3. Tell the board what kind of treatment you have had in the past, like, what the Doctors have said, what drugs you’ve tried and the level of effectiveness that they brought to you.
4. Take some time before your first post to check out and read the sections in the column on the left side of the page. A lot of your answers will be found there.
The people on this board will go out of their way to help you and offer any advice geared to your particular problem. But they can’t help you if you don’t give them enough to go on.
Hope this encourages some of you to Register and seek these people’s help.

I am relatively new here and I must admit, you have a point. I mean, for the last 2 weeks, noone has talked to me at all. It deeply depresses me and makes me feel like an outsider looking in. It makes me want to do things to myself sometimes that I know is not in my best interest. I get depressed and am unable to function at work. I stay up all night tossing and turning wondering why I don't fit in and what do I have to do to belong to this group of misfits. I don't know why I want to belong so bad, but I do. I feel lonely, unwanted, unappreciated, and depressed.
I think it is time that I ask for a refund of all my dues to this club. I am tired of paying the exhorbinant prices to belong to a group that has obviously not excepted me. What a bunch of snobs. Oh, and by the way, the refrigerator that I donated for the club house is leaving with me.
Oh, by the way, the reason why noone has talked to me the last 2 weeks is because I have been too busy to post as much as I normally do so I have been lurking. You have to post to get talked to.
What a bafoon.
