2 My Cluster-Bruthas & Sistas,

Thank U all:

DJ, echo, 2late, jonny, rick, Woobie (aka Tina), and BobG.  A very special thanx to domm & Not4Hire - (Thanx 2 U both... 'Got a new H-tank & new regulator >15 lph) ... I tried it at 10 and is helping to ease the PAIN!!!.  WILL UP IT THOUGH, IF THE BEAST "PERSISTS"

I would like to know if anyone has tried Migraleave, or the "vitamin, mineral, and an herb" therapy which is basically the same:

Magnesium          1000+ mgs per day
B2 (Riboflavin)       400+ mgs per day
Feverfew (Tanacetum Parthenium)   1000+ mgs per day

It took 2 weeks to saturate my system, (started the 1st week in Dec. of 2001), by the time I flew to NY for Christmas.... I WAS PAIN FREE!!!!!!!!!

Although, I started getting the attacks again this past June; when I flew back to NY to visit the fam & an old budd of mine I grew up with here in L.A.

Well, at least this was the most PF time I've ever had off from "Z Beast"!!!  Six months ain't a bad run for us chronic ClusterHeads.  Oh, how I would love to re-live my PF dayz.... for the rest of my life!!!  ;-{D

'Just wanted to give y'all an update.  GOD... THANK ALL OF YOUZ AGAIN FOR BEING IN MY CORNER.

My Deepest & Lasting Gratitude,

John

Glad to read that you are finding relief.  Hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
A 6 month run sounds great.  I hope you'll be back to PFDN soon.

John - glad the O2 and other stuff is working for ya. I tried the Magnesium route - (gave me the running trots), B2 is in my usual multivitamin. Haven't tried the Feverfew. I think Drk^Angel has, you might check with him. The O2 was what did the trick for me until the Verap kicked in. With O2, the idea is to fill your lungs with pure oxygen as quickly as possible, nothing else. Then the brain takes over and starts shutting things down (as I understand it, Ueli - help me here) and the beast gets tossed.
Anyway, glad you are getting some relief
Hang tough - PF days and nights are just around the corner

I took the feverfew to try to deal with the shadows and occasional breakthroughs that the verapamil was missing.  I don't know if the feverfew had a reaction with the verapamil or what, but instead of the occasional breakthrough every few days, I started getting hit everyday.  After about a week, the beast was attacking twice a day, and I decided to get off the feverfew.  Within a week, I was back to just the occasional breakthrough again.
