...is solving ANYTHING here by complaining, fighting, firing negative posts at each other, etc. If the energy spent here involving people attacking each other were directed toward fighting CH, we'd be that much farther along in helping EVERYONE get better.

RevDeFord may the stupidest name on this board, but its bearer does write posts worthwhile reading (at times ;D).
On the other hand, Dannyboy is such a miserable creature that it is difficult to find an adjective strong enough to describe this despicable freak. His remark above, about a distinguished member of this board, is by no means his worst blunder. Some time ago he wrote a post so atrociously insulting towards a meritorious friend of every clusterhead, that DJ felt compelled to delete the thread (A first on this MB, as far as I know). Dannyboy has been laying low since then, trying to swallow his stinking foot he had put in his mouth. But now he has returned, trying to impress with his gibberish the newbies arrived in the meantime.
So let me introduce Dannyboy to all that don't know him yet:
Dannyboy is neither a clusterhead nor a supporter of one.
The only reason he pesters this MB is to attempt to sucker some desperate people for his daddy's CH 'cure'. His daddy uses a surgical procedure to help meegraines (I don't know his success rate), but he admits that this has never been tried for clusters. But notwithstanding, Dannyboy in an attempt to increase business, tries to muddle the issue by mixing up all sorts of headaches in one pot. Dannyboy's knowledge about clusters is rudimentary only (to say he least): He once 'witnessed' a cluster attack, it was in fact a case of TMJ, but nevertheless he quotes this a 'cured' clusterhead. On another occasion he saw a clusterhead desperately doing an Imitrex injection, the first 1 or 2% of a full blown attack. This guy wasn't 'cured' neither. But Dannyboy believes to be a medical expert, after all he reads the old books in his daddy's library, the ones inherited from granddad.
So once again I say: Dannyboy, fuck off! Nobody is going to buy your snake oil, your 'humour' sucks and your medical 'knowledge' at best obscures the issue, but at worst could harm a CH sufferer foolish enough to believe your crap.
BTW, with the deleted thread also an opinion poll, about the desirability of Dannyboy's presence here, vanished in cyber nirvana too. But that could easily be set up again.

Also I see nothing even remotely stupid about the Rev's name. A good name it is, not to be insulted by any one with "boy" in his monicker.

I was preaching a few Sunday's ago and this lady who was about 80 grimmaced every time I looked at her. It was hilarious. I thought she must really be getting ticked. But after the service, she said she had been in church for 60 years and it was the best sermon she had ever heard.
I drove home with a smile on my face and laughter as well, because the whole time I was preaching I kept thinking "What in the world is that lady's problem. Is she going to want to lynch me after the service or not?"
LOL. I am preaching a revival there in the spring as a result.
For those who don't know, I preach for preachers who are on vacation, who are ill, and I also preach for churches who are without a pastor until they find one. And then I do revivals and concerts. I got burned a few years ago when I was in music and youth ministry and decided I would never be a Full time pastor again. Too much politics in church.
Speaking of politics Charlie, you stil a democrat? I don't know what to say to you buddy. I'll pray for you....

It amazes me when someone new comes around, and within hours, criticizes the mb or it's members, or pops off as if this board was dying, just waiting for them to come in here and revive it with their infinite wisdom!
What amazes me more is when a member, who has been here awhile, and knows the personalities and the makeup of the board, and STILL proceeds to preach " can't we just get along", knowing full well what will be the responses to that sermon.
at least the newbie can plead ignorance...

Because I am lucky and bored at work, I visit this board every weekday, and probably have seen every post made on the general posts for the last 6 months.
You know how many new people have dropped in during that time? Hundreds! do you take the time to find out about them all? no, you can't.. no one can.. unless they stick around! The only people that get flamed are those who come in here and post something that deserves to be flamed.... I have not seen one person who came in here, genuinely looking for help, get flamed.. unless they replied with a post that deserved to be flamed.
And you know what? several of these people have realized their mistake, apologized, and stuck around!
do I care about those who come in... don't care what they see, and bail? Hell no! I don't have time for them... I have tons of clusterheads committed to this site to care about!
where the hell have you been? I haven't seen you in here day after day in awhile... then you pop in and criticize those that would give their shirt off their back to help those that really need it? How dare you!
Instead of looking for negatives to criticize, who don't you look at the positives from this site! Why don't you ask the hundreds of people that visit this site religiously, and say what a godsend this place is to them, what they think of this site?

tell me how we can direct our energies more toward fighting clusters? Better yet! tell us how YOU are doing it?
The ol Rev is a classic example... he came in... stepped on his **** and got flamed! He got over it, and is one of the better posters as of late! Do you see him whining? If I recall, he slammed the hell out of me the other day.....not a good one... but ok for him... ;D
Tell me Rick... what do we need to "solve" here!
