Verapamil, Prednisone and O2

Well, I visited my Cardiologist and he switched my Cardizem CD to 240mg Verapamil SR. I just started today and that along with the Prednizone (20mg 3x / day for a week, then 2x for 5 days and 1x for 3 days) should do the trick for me. That is what worked in the past, so I am very hopeful. The O2 at 8L/min seems to be helping, but my med supply is fixing me up with larger tank and new regulator per all suggestions. They were familiar as they have other patients with same request. Now..I just hope I do not have any Cardiovascular problems with the change to verapamil. RENO

Hi Reno, If the 8 LPM of 02 doesn't keep working as well you might up it a couple notches...if it's OK with your doc. Good Luck, Jacks
