Insert a flash card into a post?
I have tried using the "insert flash" above and entering the URL but it never does load. 
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong ???

Did you click on the HELP tab (then Users/Posting)? Most of the syntax you'd need is listed there. Don't know if those are all you get, or other tags are available. For flash, it's _supposed_ to be:
[flash]http:/site.com/flash.swf[/flash]
When all else fails, RTFM.
